I buy 1-2 games on steam a year to support the developers of games I like. I play 0-3 hrs of vidya per week. Used to put in 6+ hrs/day in my teens and early 20s.
I'm not computer illiterate or stupid/afraid to pirate, I've worked in IT security for 10 years. I've never used iTunes or Netflix. I have zero steam friends and my profile is set to be as hidden/private as possible.

I bought No Man's Sky today and actually found it quite fun. It's not insanely good, but I found it enjoyable enough to want to play it more. A few games have cracked servers where you can play against the 3 Russian hackers using that server, but most don't even have that.
I pirate everything that's singleplayer only, but for multiplayer games you just have to use Steam.
