Have you ever actually read Frankenstein's Monster? I tried once and had to put the book down halfway through because it was tedious as fuck. Maybe it picks up a little more towards the end, but the lasting impression the book left from what I read of it is that it spent more time on long, flowery descriptions of the countryside the main character traveled through than it did on the actual plot.

Frankenstein is overrated as fuck. Shelly is credited as the creator of the horror genre far too often when the works of Allen Poe came about at the same century. This is of course ignoring the fact that Gothic Horror was a thing long before that as well.

He had a heated discussion with a pair of feminist teachers at his school who put him down in front of his class for teaching "elitism" by training them in classical painting techniques, things like the way reflected light changes colours, muscles hang under gravity when not flexed, folds in cloth, vanishing points. They said that he was discriminating against people who can't draw as well, that he was making it competitive by encouraging self-improvement. He put back that by their rules, the girl in the class who was a pro swimmer shouldn't swim because she was making worse swimmers feel bad about themselves.

I once read a book of fantasy art by a couple, who basically trained themselves. They had attended one art course, the first lesson was everyone drawing a live model. The teachers entered the room and stood behind the students, and at a signal, reached over and ripped up the drawings. The head teacher announced "That is the last life drawing you will ever do.", and the rest of the course was crawling through orange crates, because art should be an event, not a thing,

And here is where she really dropped the ball: every single bad think could have been avoided if Frankenstein had just done one little favour for the monster: make him a bride. But for some reason he pussied out (probably because he would have fainted again) and destroyed the almost finished body. If he was really afraid that the monsters could reproduce he should have just left out the ovaries and made her barren.

And to the idiots that think Frankenstein was science-fiction: there is no science fiction going on. All that is said about the process of creating the monster is that Frankenstein used some new techniques. That's it, literally just new techniques, no imagination at all.
