My family are all Jap immigrants and they always had this attitude of "Oh man, Japan is so much better because…".

Yeah, that didn't make me any friends in school. So I have always watched anime to lull me away from real life, it's a fucking slippery slippy slope let me tell you. One moment you are just a guy that likes anime, the next you hate everything 3D, especially girls, and the only thing that can distract you from the depressing reality of where your life is headed is watching more anime, which then further corrupts your world view.

It doesn't help that Japan was a disappointment when I visited. An inflexible, miserable, elitist disappointment.

So here I am, holding on to life until the series I am watching end, and hoping with all my might that the new ones are good too because otherwise there is only one way this is turning out for me
