From what I got from media here, the three guys were convicted. And appealed, then it went to the next tier of court. And in that court, there are 7 jury-members chosen among the common population. A majority of 5/7 is required to be made guilty. In this case, 4/7 claimed they were guilty, so now they are free to go.
Is all her lawyer screeches. And claiming something about unfairness about the majority, when the jury can consist of people with little to even no knowledge of the law.
I'm guessing the outcome is a push towards only "approved" people can be appointed jury, and it happens that it's the same people who follow the SocJus.
