I'm a person who don't really watch any movies/series or even anime (things were a bit different few years ago but not for long).

Lately I have not much to do so I ask you for some good things to watch recommended by my Holla Forumslacks.

Narcos is good because it's fairy honest when it comes to portraying Escobar as a man who recognized that his country's government was corrupt beyond salvation and decided to exploit that fact for his own and his communities gain.

Sopranos may be degenerate to a certain degree, but that La Cosa Nostra shit is pretty fucking red pilled when it comes to valuing tradition and family cohesion as well as hating niggers and kikes, so there's that.

If you go back before about 1990 there are certainly many amazing novels to chose from. But contemporary literature has taken a SHARP nosedive in the late 90s when publishers almost solely focused on the female audience.

It may have been because guys went toward comic books (lol that imploded quickly) and video games (almost got pozzed badly) while girls still preferred books.

We seem to disagree on the point that the format of film is in of itself subverted. I can't take that position. There are plenty of films with though-provoking content. I can perhaps agree with you that the act of watching is inferior to that of reading. I'd say the former stimulates more subconsciously and intuitively, while the latter does so on a higher, more focused level; both can still be consumed in either way, it just requires some self-discipline. Both formats, book and film, have a place in the intellectual development of a person. They are tools and should be used accordingly.

Interstellar, Yojimbo, Godzilla (the original one), Die Hard, Dances with Wolves, The Untouchables, old James Bond Films (the Sean Connery ones are my favorites, but some of the Roger Moore ones are great as well), Mr. Blandings Builds his Dream House, the Original Star Wars trilogy, Babe (if you don't mind kid movies), The Revenant, Blade Runner, The Indiana Jones Trilogy, Bridge Over the River Kwai

those are all the movies that I really enjoy that I can think of at the moment, if I come up with more I'll post them.

I can't offer much in terms of TV shows because I don't watch many, but if you can get a hold of The Twilight Zone, that's a fantastic show.

[Spoiler]I would also recommend all of Hayao Miyazaki's movies, especially From up on Poppy Hill, and Castle in the Sky if you're into animated films at all[/spoiler]
