In all seriousness there have been a lot of law enforcement officers that attest to the effectiveness of .40 cal/10mm. Personally I think once you get past 9mm you're pretty well off in terms of ability to kill/incapacitate. But 9 does have some advantages, namely it has good range which makes it quite useful for SMGs.
