Of course, they're still trying to push the narrative that "illegals do the work native-born Americans don't want to do", which hides the fact that this is primarily because illegals have driven down the wages too much.

We have ~20% unemployment not counting illegals, what the fuck

From their perspective, it makes sense.

It was real in my mind, goy.

Friendly reminder to everyone that unemployment doesn't count underemployment, which is fucking huge.

I work at a job that I could have gotten without a high school diploma, yet half the people here have a college degree, including myself.

They left out the part where companies could choose to move their plants back to America so they wouldn't have to pay the 35% tariff. Not that it matters to them.

True, how many unskilled labor positions are being filled by college grads who can't find work in their field? Yet business shills whine nonstop about "well we need those illegals, nobody here wants to do those jobs!" There are fucking Ph.Ds working at grocery stores, so I'm pretty sure people without degrees will work illegal beaner jobs.

All I can think of is:
Illegals (measly 5% apparently) who work for super cheap are gone.
Actual Americans still work, but get higher wages because there's less people doing labor.
There's not many doing labor because of a generation or two who were told to do STEM or bust.
They're going off of the bogus unemployment rate where if you stop looking, you're "employed". I'm sure it also counts part-time as fully employed like said.

There it is, the lie that globalists keep using to scare politicians into supporting mass immigration.

The only reason young Americans don't want those jobs is because they've been fed lies from their teachers who said they'd never survive without a college degree.

Now we have a college loan bubble that is about to burst because too many people are getting worthless degrees.

Most Americans would have loved going straight from high school into a stable career without any debt.

But liberals pushed the meme that people without college degrees were essentially lower class rednecks who would never amount to anything.
