What were the first videos you saw on YouTube?
2007 was the year for YouTube trolling. Lots of those videos are long since lost along with everyone else moving on, but those were the days. Trolling was such a foreign concept back then and idiots were very easy to rile up.
For non-troll related stuff, I happily remember the indie comedians and skits. This one was arguably my first. Sadly, those guys haven't been active in years, but this skit still makes me chuckle.

Yeah, I remember those days back when you could respond to any video with another video for no reason. also you could convince your friends to come and film a skit with you and it wasn't considered cringey

I started going on YouTube in 2006. I was in high school at the time and only went on YouTube sort of as a social gathering since I was a loser. Could easily chat with girls my age or younger and would request videos. Lots of girls would film themselves pissing or inserting a tampon in themselves or I'd ask about their first time in graphic detail
Shit was amazing. I had a lot of those vids saved on a hard drive but unfortunately it just up and decided to die on me one day for no reason at all. Really sucks. Had 250GB of the good stuff on there

Took me a second to get the joke. When I did, I must admit, I had myself a good chuckle. I typically don't find 'internet humor' especially amusing or relatable, in fact it took me years to figure out what an 'youtube' was. Nonetheless, in today's bitter political climate, I find solace in a little bit of an injection of humor into this crazy world. Anyways, good job, hope to see more of this in the future.
Youtube was really shitty at first. I think the first I saw on there was Mr Pregnant.
Everyone preferred Break, eBaums, GorillaMask, and YTMND. I think Youtube got big with help from Youporn and Redtube having similar names, which made Youtube feel like number one.

This right here. It was around 2008, I had just gotten a brand new PC computer which was the first one I owned. I was so excited, I went on YT and looked up SM intro and found this lovely. The original one was removed for whatever reason, but this is the same video.

But I remember downloading FLVs of videos.
And converting them to AVI.
Mostly music videos.
Also being able to open a page with all comments, ordered by the date they where published, without nesting of any kind. FUCK YOU GOOGLE BRING IT BACK YOU COCKSUCKERS.
