Honestly, I was expecting it to be similar to that Star Wars The Force Awakens told through Emjoi and this looks slightly better, in that it looks like they can express their faces more than that. Is there a hipster emoji?

At least, from the anime shows that show phones, the Japanese emoting pictures software is better and bigger. I'd probably prefer that movie over this, which looks to be going into dated and topical route. By some miracle it could turn out good but I doubt it.

Just from that picture alone, I can already tell you exactly how the whole thing's gonna go down.

The smiling emoji guy in the middle is going to be the hero. No points for guessing that, but his personality is just going to be "the hero": Well meaning and sweet, but also nervous and shy, and a little bit bumbling. Expect him to go "Woah!" in an escalating pitch while having some sort of clumsy accident, then falling over.

The hand dude on the right is going to be the same retarded sidekick you've all seen before: Goofy and lovable, but not too bright. Also, there will be some kind of joke about either a handshake or a high-five. Probably both.

The designated girl emoji is going to be the vastly more confident, skilled, and mature mother to the other two main characters. Since it looks like it takes place in some sort of computer, she's probably going to be a super awesome hacker, bonus points if her gender is used as a subversive, "Woah, that hacker is a GURL?!" moment. If it was 2006, I'd say it was a sure bet that she'd fall in love with the main hero, but given that more and more kids' movies are pulling the whole, "They're just friends" card, I'm not so sure.

The shit emoji is going to be a suave turd. That's going to be his existence. Either turd jokes, or jokes about the fact that he is both suave and a turd. I can't even think of anything more specific, but I know /int/ will make designated shitting streets memes with him.

This movie is so shit, I can predict the whole thing just based on this one fucking publicity image. God, I hate this planet.
