Does anyone here have experience with actual radical organizations?

What sort of organization is it, and what advice can you give?

Does the faction I was in, in University, count?

appelists (we don't like the term much but whatever) in france. Basically, european autonomy + situationnism.
It's great, informal organisations work the best, we take every other organisations by speed everytime we engage in political action. We even have to make ourselves rare to get people to miss us (:^)
Everyone is cool, except the music they play. It's shit.
Advices ? Don't trust any union, any party, and don't help them, but don't really fight them either (they aren't you direct ennemy, most of the time) and you can work with them as often as possible, as long as what's actually being done is what you believe in in terms of practice.
You don't have to like everyone in your group, but you have to be friend with some people, if you're not it doesn't make sense.
Worry about cops & surveillance. If you're doing anything serious, the cops & secret services ARE looking over your shoulders. And I REALLY, REALLY meant it.
All the points I just made have a corollary ; whatever you may think of democratic assemblies… don't wait for them. Come to democratic assemblies with actions already planned with your group, refuse its false and ridiculous "democratic legitimity" to decide which actions you should participate to, and just propose your own. This way you take the lead and you're free of the liberal bullshit that'll inevitabely flood these slow and stupid assemblies.

Love from france

Do you currently have or are in the process of making any books, pamphlets, ect. Explaining the groups opinions in general, or perhaps any original expantions of theory?
If so, how could I get ahold of them?

How much do you drink?

I want to take part in some political activism but left in my country(Poland) is basically dead.
My closest friend are also not leftists(They good people, but do not give a fuck about politics).
Any suggestions on what can i do?

bump for pro-situ comrade

Anyone ever think about starting a party? Just curious

Orgs are shit tho tbh. At this point if you're in a formal organization you're doing it for the nostalgia and the activist chic.

I was thinking of starting some sort of Socialist organization, perhaps a party, in my local area. It'd be nice to have an organization which appeals to the working class farmers that make up most of Indiana's countryside.

I think that it could probably be successful, too, considering that Indiana voted for Bernie in the primaries and has a pretty strong history with Socialist candidates, Eugene Debs being born here and what not.

Yeah organisation is so last century. Let's just be an aimless leaderless rabble.

Fucking moron.

Fuck off and read something that wasn't written in the 19th century faggot.

Hur dur it's old therefore it's irrelevant.

Read something that's not pure shit kiddo.

I am a member of SKOJ and NKPJ.
feel free to ask me anything.

if there is no local workers party, do it.
if there is, it'd just be sectarianism.

And it is very difficult to keep a party, if you plan to do anything noteworthy. You will be villified by the government media, you will get harassed by elements payed by the government and on top of all that you'll have to pay rent for the party offices, which you will have to have if you mean to interact with other serious left parties not just in the USA but internationally.

You will also have to fund the various demonstrations you commit to, and some of them will be a waste of money.

It will cost, at least, 1500 dollars a month.

Thanks for the advice, comrade. I'll keep your words in mind if, and when, I decide to discuss this with some of my leftist peers.

It'd be a joint effort, I know a large amount of laborers and workers that are dissatisfied with the state of affairs in Indiana, and would absolutely love to help turn Indiana from a red state to a Red state.

I've been thinking of a few strategies to combat media vilification as well. I don't think that it'll be too severe at a local level, but if we ever expand to a state-wide movement, it'll certainly get pretty severe.

I'll think on this some more.

tell me a few more things, where do you lie ideologically?

have you read marx and engles? have you read lenin and stalin? and do you support lenin and stalin?

And you will have to print many books and leaflets. Be ready to give a member any book at any moment.

Clever

So what is it exactly your group does?

They have sections all over the world and they're the best I've ever met. They're not like other Trots, trust me. They're far less sectarian, more happy to include other Marxist views, etc.
