So I was talking with my IT/computer studies teacher and as a joke i said is the power [of watching what every student is doing on their PC and controlling them] corrupting and he said yes. I push further, he says that all power is corrupting and that's the problem with centralized power.

If he thinks power corrupts, why doesn't he apply this sentiment to the unaccountable, untouchable, self-fulfilling power that is the private sector. Doesn't make any sense at all.
