so i've been thinking about hermione supposedly being black. obviously this is a virtue signal retcon, but jk rowling has claimed that hermione has always been black, obviously to appease sjws. it is blatantly obvious to anyone with half a brain cell floating around in their skull that this is her retconning the character and that she was originally intended to be white.

BUT

here's the kicker. she's gotten away with it with sjws because she and harry potter are their sacred cow, and they're too stupid to put any real amount of thought into this. using her own moral standards and logic, JK rowling is a piece of shit by leftist standards.

every book cover hermione has appeared in, she has been drawn as a blatantly white person. in the movies she was played by a white person.

so the publishers who put out her books, and warner bros. who made the movies, have been whitewashing her black character this whole time, and she has said jack shit about it, and as we all know, whitewashing is a leftist sin.

so to recap, if she actually did intend for hermione to be black from the start, she has actively condoned, or at the very least has been totally complacent, to her publishers and warner bros. whitewashing the only black main character in harry potter.

Being charitable, both are one and the same. She was just saying (falsely) that she never defined in written that Hermione has to be white. But she never did say she was to be black to make OP's point sound.
