We are one tribe, a tribe of people who live on the move. For generations we have lived in the surrounding lands, a hilly and uneven grassland with many surrounding forests, moving from place
to place following the herds of animals which we use for food, and also gathering any fruits from trees or bushes which we can also eat. These lands have been the home for our people
for a long time, but now the numbers of animals are dwindling and the fruits of the trees we eat are growing fewer and fewer. Our elders are all insisting that we must move on
away from this place or soon people will start to starve.
Our elders tell us that there are many places where we move to. Far towards the rising sun there is a great salty water which stretches out further than the eye can see. Our elders say that there is a tribe very similar to ours there.
Towards the setting sun there is another such water, however that one has water which can be drunk and is not salty. It is not salty like the one towards the setting sun is.
We could also go in two other directions. Through the treacherous Northern forest our elders tell us that there is a great river which would most certainly be able to sustain us, alternatively, in the opposite direction is a more dry and arid land
with more animals than there are anywhere else that we know of and with several other tribes. Alternatively, we could stay and scout out all of the different places.
Now we must decide what to do.
____
What should we do?
A: Go towards the rising sun to the great salty water (Population growth limited by movement = 4%)
B: Go towards the setting sun to the great fresh water (Population growth limited by movement = 4%)
C: Go through the Northern forest to the great river (Population growth largely limited by movement through forest = 2%)
D: Go to to dry and arid lands with many animals (Population growth limited by movement = 5%)
E: Stay here and send scouts to all of the locations
