I'd say yeah, but only because "worst" is due to everyone just being so much better. I really want to say that you could like him, but they just really dropped the ball on making him anything more than a 'sidekick'.

I say the issue with Clyde is this:

1. Lincoln plays off his sisters so much that Clyde as a rule is not needed.

2. The quirks he has for him to work as the "Wacky Neighbor" character make him not so endearing so much as a bit on the creepy side (see him getting giddy at watching Lori fart).

Sounds simple in theory but in practice it means that the mods stifle the natural flow of threads and discussions which arise spontanously, and by doing so they are effectively shitting on every single person posting. They are completely alienated from the userbase and do not understand… well, conversation.

I'm not angry as much as disappointed and grossed out by how 4chan turned out. I rarely visit /trash/ but in those few times I did I noticed that Holla Forums related threads are the same as they ONCE WERE on Holla Forums itself - fun.

On an unrelated note, I noticed that there's a lot of kids in TLH threads. Actual kids, judging by my spidey sense. I'm okay with this. It means the show really is popular, and it should be popular. It deserves it.

Oh yeah, it's really apparent. A while back I recall in a flockdraw chat that some people were saying they were 15 and whatever, and I can imagine that some people could be 12 or 13, since I started using 4chan around that age.

Which brings me to the next point - from time to time in various threads some express amazement when they realize how "old" many users are since they reckon' that others are their age. I find it cute and endearing, because I remember how I too once thought of 30 year olds as old as shit, and even twenty somethings. So yes, there's lots of younger folk running around. There's also people older than me as well. It just shows how wonderful anonymity can be.

Entirely plausible, though I kinda hope that their way was less straightforward. I like it when people, especially kids and young teens go out digging for fire. It shows initiative. It's a good trait.

Here's something I was mulling over - did or does Savino lurk Holla Forums? Thus, is it possible that Savino himself visited/visits Holla Forums and is aware of the discontent and the desire for more authentic, natural and agendaless cartoons? For instance, much of TLH is based around…. well, love, to avoid going into excessive detail. The relationships between the characters, the conflicts and resolutions offend neither boy nor girl, and everything is just so refreshingly normal and comfy. He succeeded in creating an intimate atmosphere.

So I can't but wonder if he is lurking about, or if he's one of us simply because he shares the same ideals. The fire rises either way.

I obviously chose it as a young edgelord, but with hindsight and a bit of cringe I'm glad I did.

You can't force a person to think, and the exposure to truth is brutal even to hardy individuals. To throw a kid into it all, or even just your regular normie can break them. The depression that comes with realizing the truth about the world is unimaginable. There needs to be a desire for the truth within the individual first - thus the value of saying it like it is on Holla Forums and basically everywhere. It's all in hopes that the little seed will fall on fertile ground. If even a single person ended up on Holla Forums and found his way due to our posts we've done our bit. If even a single person checked out Evola, Serrano, Guenon or Savitri Devi due to namedropping I am a happy man. Little things amount to big things. Stay in the trenches. Accept disgrace willingly. It's all for a greater cause. I have no regrets. The rusemasters of yore are the fist that's breaking the conditioning, the NEETs wield powerful memes, and there are gondolas in ancient caves of the North.

I don't think so. Back in the early days of the /trash/ general, Savino had a twitter account where he'd interact with the fans. One guy tried to get him to give a shout out to /tlhg/, which he did, stating that he didn't actually know what it was.
Then the idiot actually linked a thread to him. Afterwards, Savino's twitter deleted his twitter.
I think what lets Savino makes such a loving show that doesn't go into social problems is just due to his experience in the field. He knows what cartoons people want and didn't want to see. Granted, he did first pitch the show as being about funny animals, but the second he was told to consider making them human I guess he knew where to go from there.
Keep in mind, there's also the crew of writers and storyboaders that consistently work on the show, as well as the interns. The intern that did , for example, apparently identifies as "agendered" or something, and that's just one. So he had a good crew and people working on the show to give it a nice wholesome feel without pushing anything. Even the gay parents aren't really being "pushed". They're there, but besides saying "dads" instead of the longer "parents", they're just like everyone else, and continue to bring that nice simple/carefree feeling that the show delivers on.
Seems almost like a bit much to think about, but it is one thing I like about the show. There's very little melodrama.

I think I'm just trying to explain to myself how the show is what it is. Like you said nothing feels forced, agenda driven or insulting to the viewer. It's entirely true that Savino is experienced though, no doubt about that. He has in fact set out to create a fun cartoon, which is something I think most of the new faces are utterly unable to do. They see cartoons as vessels for their ideology, propaganda and so on, which simply means that deep down they don't give two fucks about cartoons at all. The same happened to movies, vidya, music etc. On the other hand the audience is alienated as fuck, and the popularity of the Loud House proves this. We're all starved for genuine fiction.

I also agree that even the things I despise aren't jarring in this show at all, and I think I know why - the show does the only legit thing and respects the viewers and doesn't preach anything to them. It is the viewer who decides on a system of values, not the writers. The viewer isn't a passive receiver but has the freedom to make his own judgements. For young kids today this must be an incredibly unfamiliar and liberating feeling.

What does everyone think about the crude humor in the show? I mean, it's really not that bad and over-the-top compared to shit like Sanjay and Craig, but it is still fairly explicit (you can visually see poop and vomit).

It's to that point where, even though it's not too bad, I'm still afraid to introduce it to some people in fear that may might drop it just for that.
