The way that she's drawn actually changes drastically from chapter 1 to the next time she pops up (chapter 4). I think she was originally meant to be full loli, then the writer wanted to do lewd gags for a bit (like the graveyard scene with sid) then it's dropped again but she's drawn looking a bit older for the rest of the series. But it's never addressed.
The more stunning outfits aren't in the anime though.

Read Bersek. It's a classic and the art is phenomenal. Jojo is entertaining. Soul Eater is meh.

Berserk was pretty good. It's a little frustrating that it never got proper treatment with a show. Soul Eater was my favorite though.

Kiss has a much easier format to read than bit-by-bit on an imageboard. But I do recommend it.

IMO both the anime and manga are OK until chapter/episode 6 or 7 (I think they both hit their stride once Stein becomes a regular character) then the anime is really good until around episode 39 which is when it really deviates from the manga. After that it has internal consistency issues wrapping up all the plotlines (it condenses and cuts like 85 chapters to 13 episodes) and doesn't go so well but I still enjoyed it. The manga is consistent and has a much better ending.

I enjoyed it. I'm pretty sure there's some fanart of that guy that might work (he's also in some hentais).
