One of the few things I've heard that seemed positive about Obama is that he's tried to implement some form of universal healthcare coverage for your population. I know that the social income and general peace of mind that comes from such as system far outstrips pecuniary recompense.

You're forced to pay for health insurance but health insurance is like $400 a month and only covers really extreme injuries so you may as well have not been paying for it at all.
