What I find the weirdest about this is that they just picked a bunch of cartoons who happened to dress snappily once in their whole series and never again. Almost as if Part IV and V were the only ones that have ever existed and Jojo was all about fashion models with mind powers.

D4C is fucking neat too, plus Diego not being a DIO clone, Johnny not being a goody two shoes and Gyro being the exact opposite of Zeppeli made the whole thing work better than expected. AUDiego is kind of a dumb villain, but at least they didn't make a buff THE WORLD for him, though I really wish they'd reintroduce beefy characters.

I don't have anything to draw the stands with at this point, I do have outlines of what their designs would be, in this case Audioslave would be sort of techno-organic with headphones under its skin where the ears would be. Depeche Mode would be like a cowboy of sorts with a sunglasses-shaped visor where the eyes would be as well as two revolvers that look like they were designed for .950JDJ rounds. R.E.M would be based off the sandman of Dutch folklore, it would have a stand cry as well, which is "oyaoyaoyaoyaoya oyasumi," oyasumi is Japanese for "good night"

IIRC it's kind of like how Time Stop works. Diavolo explained that King Crimson erasing time and foreseeing the future puts a lot of strain on the user, which is something that also comes up in part III and IV in some bits. But barely anyone felt like reading Part V because "muh bad scans" and "giorno is worse than jotaro" are thrown around at newcomers so much, plus Araki just forgets the rules he set up for a part when he makes a new one (no world can exist in the mirror in III, Man In the Mirror is real in V).

Not really, I didn't really word the ability very well, but R.E.M would basically freeze the opponent so that they couldn't move, and could be seen by the opponent even if they aren't a stand user in a manner similar to sleep paralysis, it would then attack them, another odd thing is that the opponent wouldn't feel any of the pain or damage until they are out of the frozen state or are woken up

I think Ringo was underdeveloped as fuck, his stand should have led to way more shenanigans than fucking Magenta Magent, even though being annoying was kind of the point of the character, with an annoying stand and an admittedly funny scene with Steel.

I guess it felt more mature a story than previous parts (nationalist prick but selfless politician vs. guy who had it though all his life but is still kind of an asshole compared to other protagonists) and it introduced some variety compared to the other three previous parts. What I really like a lot about Jojo is how they give you this sense of a physical and metaphorical journey of the protagonists and antagonists in reaching some unobtainable entity (and strength, never forget about strength). Part V had cooler fights than Part VI but it was so fucking dull in comparison to II or VII.

If you think about blood as food that has to be digested before it can provide nutrition, it makes a bit of sense. IMO the series should just end with part 9 being a bigger homage to the series' roots, part 8 isn't really doing it for me. Gappy is a funny autist but most chapters have been really boring and Norisuke is the only one carrying this mess. The Yasuho-Gappy interactions were really cute, as the Joshuu-Gappy ones, but now they rarely ever happen. Also now that the whole "mystery" aspect has been thrown out of the window, it hasn't picked a Bourne Identity kind of vibe, which is a damn shame.

The real question is what happened to Joseline and Jotaro's souls? I guess part 8 was the first part retold and the friends being reincarnated?

There's still Kaato and that Valentine looking guy at the beginning of the manga in Josefumi's flashback and I'm fairly sure we're still quite a few characters away from the ending.

Slip them in to divide their opinions. Also a possibility is creating characters/stands just cool enough to be plausible at first glance, but are actually edgy crap, secretly too OP once you apply logic to them, or just canon JoJo stands but with their powers restated.
