Yugoslavia (Bosnia,Serbia,Croatia,Slovenia,Macedonia,Mt. nigger) was a buffer zone between two empires for the last 300 years before ww1. The ottoman turk muslim empire, and the catholic Autrian-Hungarian empire. The Austrians took over the dalmatia (croatia) region and germanized it, muslims did the same with Bosnia. Serb nationalists will tell you that a croat is just a germanized serb, and that a bosnian is just a muslim serb, instead of being different ethnicity like considered today, some proof of this is that they all speak the same language. Bosnians claim that the muslims let their people continue their way of life and have whiter genes than serbs because of the conversion, instead of having turk rape in their lineage ike what some serbs suffered, and claim to be native Illyrians instead of slav migrants like serbs.

A serb started ww1 by assassinating the austrian archduke in the bosnian city of sarajevo, this caused alot of the anti slav attitude that you saw from germans in the early 1900s

When ww2 came along, croatia being the deutschboos like they are decided to be a nazi puppet state, and rounded up serbs along with jews and put them in death camps. Serbs tried having a nationalist government to defeat these croatian nazis (ustase) but were taken over by the stalin backed Yugoslav partisans, led by Tito, who was a croat himself.

During tito's reign there was peace among the balkans for the first time in centuries, and when he died the serbian nationalists started rising to power and this scared the other republics, so they succeeded from the yugoslav nation. The serbs living in these countries then succeeded from the new countries, forming their own little republics (SOA Krajina for Croatia, Republika Srpska in Bosnia)

During the wars, the croatians were able to drive out the serbs from Croatia, completley destroying Krajina and capturing their capital city, Knin.

In bosnia however, there was no victor for either side, the war ended where the battle lines were drawn, and thus the country is now seperated into two entities, the muslim "federation of Bosnia/Herzgovinia" and the serb "Republika Srpska"
