Last year I made a thread on Holla Forums about PiS in Poland and most of you laughed them off as kooks and told me not to worry and that they were not a serious threat. Once again this has been shown wrong and they have become victorious.
Now they have crushed the courts, taken control of the army, politicised the civil service, taken control of the economy and the media by placing them into the hands of their cronies or the state and they are now moving against the constitution itself seeking to "Orbanise it" which is what Orban did in Hungary. Meaning to rig the entire political system towards nationalist conservative ideas and to make it much easier for the ruling party to maintain power. On top of this they are deeply suspicious of foreigners of all stripes, both western and eastern, hate Muslims, have been flirting with anti-Semitism such as when the Minister of Defence said that the Jews wanted to destroy Poland. They see enemies everywhere and all those who oppose them they accuse of being funded by international Jewish bankers, in the parliament one of their MPs said this. Poland also stands as a completely right-wing country in the parliament, all left-wing parties have been kept out of it using a threshold barrier. So only the right and the far right remain with the far right in power.
Not content with this of course PiS is also calling for even faster change, they want to destroy social freedom, political freedom and turn Poland into the capital of the reactionaries in Europe.
At the time I made that thread warning about PiS Holla Forums dismissed my concerns due to your own arrogance and I remember saying that it would once again be the leftists having our heads in the sand that defeated us.
As if this is not bad enough it has recently been noted that more eastern European countries and central European countries are moving in this manner. Croatia's new government has been seen as trying to follow in Poland's footsteps. Austria to has the FPO which has exploded in popularity and now threatens to take the Presidency itself.

I haven't been here for since a long teime, but after a year or two of lurking, most of the guys here don't seem to do anything outside of Holla Forums, so their reaction towards your post doesn't suprise me.
The only thing that I can say is that you need to start a resistance movement against the gov, otherwise it will soon turn into a police state and anykind of resistance or even a slight opposition will be quelled with violence, if it's not happening already. The same thing is happening here in France, the socialist party showed its real face (neoliberals) and since March people have been on strikes and manifestations which have been faced with violence from the government and the police. Equip yourself, find other comrades and do something, debating on the net won't arrange the situation. Powodzenia, kamrat.

We have a "Committee for the Defence of Democracy" and it's a fucking joke, the front lines on the protests are full of liberal establishment politicians.
