Long ago, hg threads were a common sight here on Holla Forums. But then I took over on hosting when the old op decided to stop hosting. I went a little bit overboard and would host every Friday, for ten hours straight.
Needless to say, hg threads aren't a common thing anymore for a reason.

Well, yes.
The only overarching idea was to automatically put in the winner from the last thread. I know it's autistic, but people seem to really enjoy the game, I did get away with doing those marathons on more than one occasion. If you go look at >>>/hgs/ and >>>/hga/ you'll notice that they have quite the number of posts between them both. I won't lie to you though, there was quite a bit of circlejerking going on, which may be one of the appeals of it, I'm afraid I wouldn't understand.

pretty autistic. It's just a way to have anons gamble on their and read random generated events. after seeing it for so many times im sure it gets stale, maybe if you could insert custom events that are board specific then it would be more interesting.

Yeah, that can be done. I'm afraid I lack the creativity or time to do it. As such, two years ago when the game was played, people just gave me events to put in, I never bothered making them on my own. I've also changed machines since then, so I don't have those events anymore and I kinda forgot to ask about it here.
Oh well, maybe next week, right?
