I don't know if that answers your question, I feel like I can only put it vaguely but if you have questions I can answer them.

The groups you can usually eliminate off the bat are:

1. The Hasidim (excluding Chabad), who spend their time studying all day so they don't really dominate business (except in some areas like neighbourhoods of NYC, but only due to sheer numbers) nor politics (except in Israel where they have their own parties, and a few school boards in New York state).
2. Completely secularised, full-on Marxist or SJW-tier Jews who often marry a non-Jew or, increasingly, mixed themselves. This is because they are the "collateral damage", getting the goyish disease not meant for the Chosen(TM), and often estranged from their families or at least the wider Jewish "community" (read: nepotistic network).
3. It's also important to remember that Jews of different origins will have often unoverlapping networks. For example, Sephardi and Persian Jews have their own networks separate from Ashkenazim, who dominate the US.
Former USSR Jews are also a separate category and, while technically Ashkenazic ethnically, are much more assimilated and in general more involved with the economy and politics of post-USSR states and Israel rather than America or the West (excepting Germany, where they have a strong influence).

For the rest, it's obviously a spectrum of degrees of separation (family of friend relations) from a few rich mega-kikes to the rest. My question is, what career or job should I pursue?

Since I was a child, I wanted to create entertainment. Films, cartoons, or even just great stories or games that would entertain and inspire. I would always daydream specific stories that I would love to create and share with the world. Because of this, I wanted to be a director and screenwriter, and would love to pursue it. I am fond of computers, so I would also like to know more about them, so should I instead pursue Computer Science/Engineering? Electrical Engineering?
