NSA
I use the GNOME3 edition on my laptop.
That's all I ask, tbh. If my tower PC wasn't running KDE5 and AMDGPU, I'd probably install Fedora on that as well. However, bleeding-edge packages are very important for KDE5 and AMDGPU, both of which are still heavily under development, so I run Arch.
jewhat potterware
I use it and I like it. Relatively "bleeding edge", stable, and Gnome integrates fairly well out of the box with it.
Meme distro. Slow as molasses too ever since SystemDeBotnet and GTK3/KDE4 became dependencies even in GTK2 environments.
Buggy and bloated RHEL's playfield.
I tried it a couple years ago and fucking hated it. Of course, I'm posting from CentOS now, so maybe I wouldn't hate it all that much now.
I prefer Ушанка Linux товарищ
stable
open source repos only by default
unfortunately defaults to GNOME3, but i think there's other options
curious testing ground for new things
linus torvalds uses it
>linus torvalds uses it
because installing debian was too hard for him
Went completely down the shitter starting with 15
It has more problems than DeadIan
crap. Gnome 3 is crap, dnf is slow piece of crap, and fedora is a testing ground for NSA/Redhat.
I think fedora is a pretty cool guy. eh, rpm and doesn't afraid of anything
You're confusing Torvalds with Stallman.
I use it on my laptop and desktop, I like how it works "out of the box"
every shit that infested every other distro came from fedora shit, fuck fedora
Not the user you responded.
Actually Linus had a bad time installing and configuring debian (didn't succeed to make is printer work).
"why the fuck does a printer needs a password to print"
--Linus Torvalds
Linus and RMS are both so autistic that they can't even install an operating system.
I am criticizing but I can't code like the gods they are/where.>>680286
I installed it on a toaster, I suppose that was my first mistake. Regardless, it wasn't good. I don't like the WM. Why are my interfaces named so strangely? What happened to eth0 wlan0?
In a word, "unaccommodating".
It's one of the better options, TBH.
I actually run Sabayon
m'distro
fuck systemd, gentoo poser
Fedora users are just free labor for Red Hat.
NSA.
Blobs.
Red Hat.
Would not install.
Fedora 25 just got released
Replaces X11 with Wayland
Much improved live image so you can test it from a USB device without installing it
No hes not. Stallman has most likely never even tried to use debian.
Switched over to Fedora so I could learn more about SELinux policies. Wanted a "RedHat-like" machine that will still recent enough to be fun.
That's a Systemd thing.

It's botnet.
not an argument.
That was about OpenSUSE, actually. His trouble with Debian was during the installer phase.
Not a bad distro but it's community is even more zealot than Arch
Because Ubuntu MATE is better.
Fedora is probably one of the most stringent distros in that regard, mainly because of Red Hat legal. Anything non-free/patent encumbered is not packaged, which presents usability problems.
Anyways, I used it for a few years, but it wasn't bleeding edge enough for me, and I always had to wait for slow as fuck maintainers to update third-party repos., mocktool itself is kinda shitty.
So now I just use Arch Linux. It's a better GNOME desktop once you get it set up than mainline Fedora, anyways.
Well, except for sanctioned GNU/Autism distros, of course.
