Still, a defensive parameter needs to be setup. If we can show that the right can successfully defend and defeat the left-wing goon squads coming in to town, it will send a very powerful message.

The convention center itself seems defendable. The east and north will present potential sniper positions though. That's also where a lot of the building's facade glass is located. There is also a bridge from the convention center to the building directly across from it that could present access problems if not controlled.

The south is relatively safe, so long as the baseball field is controlled, cleaned out if a violent confrontation would arise. The west is the safest direction, with the only vantage point being a smoketower. Further out the highway 10 bridge and the weird steel bridge right before the bridge could present problems. Fortunately snipers in the convention centers could provide accurate and deadly counter fire on those points.

So, if any of you are planning to attend, stay away from the north and east. If shit happens, immediately try to get control of the parking garage to the east and baseball field to the south. If fact, it would be better if a group of armed anons stayed in the parking garage to nip any enemy snipers in the bud and setup their own sniping positions, focusing on the buildings to the north and baseball field to the south. The police will most likely be overwhelmed.

If the police were serious about protecting people, they would send a hell of a lot more people that what they are planning to.

I would highly recommend anyone going to this event to watch the north and east for snipers. Particularly the parking garage to the east, and various high rises to the north.

Of particular concern is that V-shaped building on Ontario and Huron with what appears to be a mural on it. The side of the building that lies on Ontario present a major security risk. Further along Ontario to the northeast is Tower City Center, a large office building with a tower as its central point. The numerous windows and columns provide excellent sniper nests. Keep an eye on it. The buildings in that general area provide excellent vantage points, so be careful when traveling along the northside. Worse still, they have a clear line of fire on the buildings glass exterior and main entry point on E Huron and Hwy 8, with the Federal Courthouse Building to the northwest offering direct line of sight along W Huron Rd directly to the main entrance.

To the east, the main threats are the aforementioned parking garage, the AT&T building, and the highrise directly behind it. Efforts should be made to secure the parking garage as quickly as possible, and use it and the vehicles inside for cover from fire coming in from the north. People on the street separating the parking garage from the convention center should immediately run east to the parking garage, or west into the convention center. There is a bridge that connects the parking garage to the convention center. This should be utilized as quickly as possible to move people to the garage. Users of both the bridge and the street below should be mindful of the other parking garage and high rise directly to the north and the baseball field to the south.

When evacuations begins, and the baseball field has been determined to be secure, the convention center should empty from the south, with people either mad dashing from the convention center to the baseball field or hugging the parking garage. The former will open them up to sniper fire from the grey high rise to the east, while the other will minimize eastern fire but open them up to shots from the north. Those on the western side of the convention center should also move south. Once at the baseball field the should head into inside the complex and use its western wing (the side facing the river) to move further south. The southern end of the baseball field butts up to another parking garage, a community college office, which can be used as secure housing for convention goers. Evac of civs could begin either on hwy 10 or I-90, depending on the situation.

As you can see, this presents quite a predicament, should snipers decide to open fire from the north or east or the south via the baseball field. The convention center is effectively surrounded on three sides.

Rifles and semi-automatic shotguns can clear out a street of dindus in no time. I would try to keep them north along highway 8, so the baseball field evac route I outlined earlier can be used without incident. Trying to push them west will be impossible seeing as it is a drop off, and the ped bridge crossing the railroad tracks is to far south, and could jeopardize the potential evac route.

It means lock and load and to fuck with the gun laws and rules in Cleveland, cuz the police ain't gonna do shit.
