Remember the early 2000s when we had games coming out with so many colorful or cartoony characters? Some never got sequels but there were alot of games then I pictured could have worked out as a cartoon.

Which games do you think would have made great or okay cartoons?

would Jak and Dexter make a good game? Maybe Spyro?

They turned the cutscenes of Whiplash into a movie

Trends run in cycles

Ty the Tasmanian Tiger, perhaps?

I'm still excited for Cuphead

Everything in this series screams "Wacky Cartoon from the 50's".

I just wish they'd give us a release date

They're at least making progress. I'd rather the devs take as much time as they need to make it perfect.

However if it doesn't come out this year I'll still be bummed out. The game looks like a lot of fun and it's probably the closets we're ever going to get to a faithful representation of 30's/40's animation in video games.

And John Kricfalusi is still going to go apeshit over it.

Not anymore. They are gone, just like Crash Bandicoot and Sly Cooper are.

Sly is still getting a movie.

I honestly think it looks like shit. The dialogue and art style are all off.

...

HOLY FUCK I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY PERSON WHO PLAYED MAD DASH RACING
I'll let this thread slide for one post, just for that, OP. Today OP was only half a faggot.

Half a faggot is still a faggot.

good to see that user. Glad people are continuing the legacy.

Story?

A faggot is a faggot. You can't say it's only half.

Apparently that got shitcanned after the ratchet and clank movie bombed

Most of the info I could find say it's starting development this year. After 2 years they're just now getting started.

I still hope the movie get's released though. I might enjoy it if the script wasn't so shitty.
Carmelita better have a sexy Latina accent

Doesn't she always have a different VA?
