What was your favorite film when you were 18?

...

I've come a long way since then.

...

Couldn't pick just one.

Lost Highway. It was the first David Lynch movie I ever saw, and it was like nothing else.

Nonagenarians? On my Holla Forums?

I was such a goddamned pleb, I saw this 5 times in the theater.

What did people think about at the time, before it started getting lauded as the greatest movie of all time? I heard no one really cared about it until the French discovered it after the war and started singing it's praises in all their magazines.

It was always this.

Taxi Driver.

and still is, despite Schradder being a faggot

The Chinese cartoon or are you memeing me rn?

what a great film this truly is. one of the few westerns i've ever been able to sit through, and the only i'd call great.

Nothing to Lose with Tim Robbins and Martin Lawrence. I still think it's a really underrated movie

Someone hasn't seen Once Upon A Time

You're an old guy.

It's not for everyone i have to say, requires a little patience
I couldn't get into it when i was a teenager, now it breezes around
Powerful duo of characters, and a rare Fonda bad-guy role

The Great Silence is also great, recommended alone for the Kinski antics

Oh come on.

Yeah, just barely.

You mean, like, in a year from now? Lmao.

You're too old gramps.
