As someone who hates ever modern cartoon right now as CalArts unfunny trash I gotto say, Bojack Horseman is pretty good. Its damn good actually, one of the best cartoons in years. I feel like its going to end up being one of those shows everyone tries to emulate from now on

Thats literally the entire point. And the show is more than self-aware of this, they even wrote her off to be a complete bitch at times. Why I think she is actually brilliant is she also isn't written to be a complete liberal strawman a-la Brian Griffin for the writers to soapbox about.
