Are you a part of the private tracker community?

I tend to just join, seed decently for a month or two and then fuckoff.

However, lately it has been harder and harder to find a public tracker who doesn't get shot or honeypotted constantly so I'll probably look into joining a good private tracker once I get a new HDD (I have been making do with an old 320gb one and it shows its age)

For now I just stick to what since I'm out in the boonies and rely on a mobile connection capped at 50gb/month.

I don't think it's actually a tracker. It's a streaming website but does a lot of stuff like private trackers and it's really hard to get into.

I forgot to add, I've been told they have a certain amount of movies at a time but they're often on there before or while being shown in theaters.

Soulseek probably has the widest range out of any free method. Rutracker is great for music as well, flac images in particular.

I've always disliked torrents for basically shitting on contributing members (ie. OC) and rewarding members who provide the least value (ie. seedbox). Torrent communites also seem to be largely full of idiots, and the moderators are always massive dicks.

It's very easy to change IPs and get a new account.

To get upload credit, I take existing random FLAC files or my own rip + some distortion to the audio files, generate a fake EAC log, sign it (easy to reverse engineer checksum.exe), upload, and watch the cucks and faggots downloading my shit. Works best if filling a request for a nice bounty.

the good thing with seedbox niggers is that they cant keep seeding all torrents forever because the storage on those things is limited. depends on the torrent but usually they stop seeding after ~4 days

Actually the limiting factor on seedboxes is bandwidth.

idk if it counts, but I use pornolab and rutracker. You have to register to use them but they are not invite only like other trackers. But I guess it is better this way, I assume those invite only trackers have either no content or only shit content.

I've been using Perfect Dark since 2009 now and that isn't the case for me.
I'm pretty sure there has been a maximum of around 50 users ever getting arrested for using the program, which was across the period of a decade and all of them were in Japan.

Borrowed my friend's IPT account since he was not using it.
Rented a seedbox since I would've gotten banned on my shitty 0.7 upload speed at home.
Now it's on about 1.5TB + uploaded, got some invites and idk if I should invite myself and make my own account or just take over friend's account.
Also got a GazelleGames account which I was happy to get but it turned out to be quite useless atm. People just put RSS auto-downloader on ANY new torrents to get ratio (since every torrent is freelech for the first 6 hours after it's uploaded) and you can barely get any seeding out.

Not to mention even IPT has been more useful when it came to things like PS3 games

I think if we stopped looking so much on ratio and more on seedtime it would be healthier for the communities.
You should be commended for seeding high quantities, but at some point, the few with high bandwidth seeds everything and the common user wont DL anything because they can't maintain a proper ratio and it'll end up being those who seed just to seed, seed just to those who seed just to seed, a seed bubble (le giggle) if you will.
