To me, Holla Forums seems almost like some kind of "turtling" strategy. If there's anything leftists hate, it's anything that challenges their extremely delicate narrative of the world.

I've got mixed feelings about the Holla Forums schism. On the one hand, it's tiring having to argue the same tired facts with the same people who have ZERO interest in hard evidence over and over again. On the other hand, it's become equally tiring how this place has become some kind of circle jerk for Hitler fetishism. Maybe I'm just remembering things fondly, but I seem to recall there used to be a breadth and depth of ideologies here that at least made for interesting conversation.

Yeah I wouldn't dispute that. It seems to be the sole underlying ideology here aside from a handful of detractors.

If you just google "swarmfront" and "bugs buddy" I'm pretty sure the original threads from then are still up on stormfront. They talk about the chans in no uncertain terms and discuss precisely what they wanted to do, which had you been on 4chan at the time you would have immediately recognized that they were doing exactly what they said they would do.

Basically a bunch of trolls started trolling trolls, and morons thought it was serious. It's like how some people literally think Anton LaVey actually believed in a literal Satan and treat his book like a literal work of religious scripture.

It's National Socialism, which doesn't really have a concrete definition, in fact, it probably shouldn't even be considered an ideology considering how different it has been every time it was applied.

Holla Forums is their board, and they never came from Holla Forums at all, or indeed even imageboards in general. Allegedly their BO is a Paki that posts on brit/pol/ but brit/pol/ is hardly Holla Forums and again he was most likely drawn to brit/pol/ during Gamergate.

In the album linked you will see a very dedicated Canadian leafposter that for 3-4 months would argue how Obama did such a great job creating 14 million jobs. Any actual good arguments against Obama's capability as a president he would ignore, however, he would destroy posters who were not good at debating. The best way to defeat these guys is simply to ridicule them with memes, because you will never convince them they are wrong. They are very likely paid shills.
