Do I have any legal recourse as far as trying to pursue a claim against an ebay seller who fucked me on a 2tb HD I bought back in August? I wanted to file an issue, but apparently the faggot I bought the shit from got shut down by ebay for being a shitbag.
My HD just died the other day, and it's only 4 months old at the oldest.
You faggots think I have any possibility of getting a new one if I call the manufacturer? I have some dank shit I would really like to get off it if possible, but my OS doesn't even recognize the HDD.
For the record, this was strictly a storage drive with no OS on it. The primary drive is an SSD with Mint 17.3 Mate 64 bit on it.

If you've had it for four months then nope. That's within the timeframe where a court can reasonably expect a hard drive to die, especially if it's secondhand. If it's under warranty you could seek compensation from the manufacturer, but it probably isn't.

I bought the HD as "new other" if I recall correctly. I checked the HD as soon as I got it, and it appeared new when I checked it. Shit sucks because I lost a ton of dank memes among other shit.
