So is this fork honeypot free?

JUST

The other thread had "CUMDRIBBLER" in the name field, so I think this was on purpose.

There can never be too many alternatives.

Does it have its own nodes separate from the tor network? Does it connect to ordinary .onion sites or does it have its own extension? This thing doesn't seem to have any sort of FAQ.

why doesn't it just stay on 8ch.net?

Tor is useless without nodes, good luck with privacy without any nodes.

I'm not even sure yet, it's a big mystery.

Rotor confirmed for ISIS

I am sure NSA will be more than happy to be first volunteer to provide many nodes.

For what purpose? They should contribute to I2P.

On his twitter he says it will support tor, i2p, and the new independent tor network

I2p is a meme

nope.
it's just shit because Java™

No, it's shit because it forces you to contribute back to the network at outrageous values. I believe the lowest value that won't get you dropped by literally everyone is 10% of your network bandwidth.

Because people fleeing persecution or need free speech have terrific internet usually.

You have no idea what Java is.

Oh, yeah. Definitely going to be guiding Tor to obsolescence.

looks like they're thinking of forking brave browser
feel free to bikeshed the shit out of this decision on the mailing list

This. It's also terrible for people dependent on other people's internet (such as University students) because often you are unable to open the port that you need because of the Universitie's firewall.

There's nothing wrong with brave if you disable ad replacement.

Yes I do.
