Following the collapse of Rome, Jews didn't have any control of what was formerly Israel because it was still controlled by Byzantine (the Eastern Roman Empire) or the muslims (it went back and forth for centuries). So they traveled to the southern tip of the Arabian peninsula (modern day Saudi Arabia) and established the Himyarite Kingdom, a Jewish kingdom mostly known for dishonesty and treachery.
Early in the 5th century, the Himyarites murdered a bunch of Byzantine merchants and stole their goods, and the Aksum (allies of the Romans in what is modern day Ethiopia) got so pissed at the disruption to trade that they crossed the Red Sea and slaughtered the shit out of the Jews in revenge, then went home again.
Abu-Kariba, who started out pagan but converted to Judaism after two Jews cured his illness, was renowned for being a mass-murdering dickhead and was assassinated by his own troops. His son, Yakkaf, took the throne and, upon discovering that a Christian missionary had built a church and erected a cross inside the Himyarite Kingdom, had the missionary and all of his churchgoers massacred and the church defiled and burned to the ground.
Emboldened by the fact that he got away with this, he then spent the next several decades persecuting any Christians who refused to convert to Judaism and eventually attacked the Christian population of Najran. The Aksum, apparently sick of the Jews' bullshit, then crossed the sea again and beheaded him and conquered the Himyarite Kingdom.
Several centuries later, the Jews colonized Ethiopia and gathered enough people to overthrow the Aksumite Empire and establish the Kingdom of Semien, yet another Jewish kingdom that persecuted Christians. Three centuries later, the last surviving descendent of the Aksum royal family led a revolt against the Jews and started a series of Christian vs Jew wars, which the Jews initially succeeded at but ultimately lost because they insisted on attacking the Ethiopian Empire for shits and giggles. In the 1500's, the Jews allied with the Ethiopians to finish off the Aksum once and for all, but then got their asses handed to them when they decided to betray the Ethiopians at the last minute, because clearly they weren't being treacherous enough.
By 1627, the Ethiopian Empire had managed to conquer and annex the Kingdom of Semien once and for all. The chief rabbi of Egypt in the 16th century had declared the people of Semien and Ethiopia to be Jewish, and modern DNA tests show that many Ethiopians do indeed have Jewish ancestry and can, by law, immigrate to Israel as Jews.
And the Israelis give them the option of either being deported to Sweden or being surgically sterilized so they can't breed, because the Jews are nothing but consistent backstabbers.
