8chans gone way downhill, but thats in large part cause of idiocy, paranoia, and a site that was broken for a considerable length of time.
That shit killed conversation on so many boards on this site. The very same paranoia that gave birth to this sites popularity? Was and is and remains one of its biggest downfalls. I hated 4chan by 2014, and I still do, I would have come without gamergate, I go around alot of alt imageboards. But all people want is to be amused, and all people come to Holla Forums for is to talk about how the shills are coming to get them.
There's no such thing as shitposting. Shitposting is a vague, undefinable concept that ultimately comes down to "things I don't like".

The only thing a mod should worry about is spam. To have fun with a slower imageboard you have to be creative just say whatever outlandish odd things you can think up. Moderation, fucking nukes that. And this is the only top 3 board I come to vist anymore, at all ever anymore (been away besides for a few pokes of the ole head in but theres been a lot of sports on).
