That's because you don't know anything about web crawlers and how they operate. There are many crawlers that achieve the exact same thing as google. Google isn't some high and mighty crawler that spans the entire internet.

About tineye, it's not that bad but it has its faults. That's why you use tineye + other crawlers to find a source. Google on its own is mostly censored. Sometimes you won't get results simply because the powers that be don't want you to.

I understand how web crawlers work, I maintain a searx instance. Google, however, has the best reverse image search, as it can identify horizontal mirroring and cropped images. You could use 8 different engines to achieve the exact same result as one google image search.
