It also doesn't help that full/pol/ has the potential to be better than any Holla Forums incarnation, but due to a low-info populace there's usually only lesser quality conversations and posts. The various Exodus' (for the site in general) began with a big awesome boom filled with old 4chan nostalgia and the desire to carve out a new high-quality community for ourselves, but that's since faded for whatever reason.
I can't tell whether this site will cycle with peaks and troughs in the user-activity, but if it takes the usual path of internet communities it might just get slower and slower with only a few loyal users before it fizzles out.
