I've done some analysis and I think the voting will end 16.3m to 15.3m in favour of leave. The establishment needed typically non-voters (young people) to stand a chance of winning but they'll still easily lose, despite the gerymandering, by about a million. That's a worst case scenario. Am considering a bet as current odds for brexit are 11/4!!

Btw word on the street is Labour voters up north are not at all convinced about the labour party's official referendum position due to labours complete inability to answer concerns about immigration. My estimate is that labour voters will at worst vote 65% remain 35% leave.

Excellent. Been out leafleting and it certainly seems like the majority of people are either passionate to leave or apathetic/unsure.
Even if the result is a close remain it will be a big humiliation for the EU and lend justification to the idea of a referendum in other EU member states.
If we do vote to leave then it will be an utter disaster for the EU and will greatly accelerate it's inevitable demise.

This is the general sentiment I've been getting in my area. I live in an ex mining area in the north east which is extremely left wing but people are slowly starting to ditch their entrenched tribalist mentality and realise that the labour party no longer acts in their interests.
It was also very uplifting to see Dennis Skinner and John Mann express their support for brexit. The former's defection even made the front page of the morning star.

Also don't forget that the majority of businesses in the UK are not directly trading with EU, and so labour supporters who aren't working for a company that trades with the EU have a real choice to make:
1)Retain their national identity, help stop mass immigration, get back at new labour's top down policy making.
or
2) Allow senior labour politicians and their think tanks to continue to take the piss out of them.
People like Milliband and Johnson are saying the tories will take away workers rights if we brexit, but I doubt many actually believe that to be true.
I don't actually think that the majority of labour supporters are pro-globalization or internationalist. These values/policies have been placed on top of labour from up high. i.e. i don't think most labour supporters truly want a one world socialist/communist government. Rather they want workers rights and protection for their national industries and interests. Most labour supporters are not happy that new labour did nothing to bring back national industries destroyed by thatcher and neoliberalism/globalization, as evidenced by the election of Corbyn as leader.

Agreed. The future of the EU is populist versus left and far left political groups, ultimately leading to its reduction back to the single market. Neither populist groups or far left want things like an EU army, and want more democracy. So in one way or another, the EU is going to change into something much less influencial. A brexit would result in referendums for france, poland, etc. They would drop like flies and it will be essentially over within 5 years.
