Ok, back in antiquity there were two Hewbrew countries in the Levant: Israel and Judea. Obviously Israelis were from Israel, and jews were from Judea. So why did modern day "jews" found "Israel" instead of Judea? From what I remember there was a war between the two, and one of them (I think Israel, but don't quote me on that) was destroyed, while the other lasted a little longer. What if, now I'm just spit balling here, what if at some point in the past the Babylonian talmudists (what Judaism used to be called ) claimed to be jews specifically to lay claim to the origins of Christianity?

Or, another possibility, what if "jew" doesn't denote Judean ancestry at all, but instead means they were a followers of Judah, who was likely a Pharisee spy? Think about it, CHRISTianity follows Christ JUDAism follows Judah. I know there was that dead Sea scroll book ( apocryphal text, which ever it was) that claimed Judah actually betrayed jesus on his request, but those texts have never been verified.

I don't know if any of it is true, but it would sure explain a whole lot.

I was born a catholic, but I became an atheist several years ago as a result of several factors. I then found myself getting deeper into history, philosophy and slowly began to open up and look at the faith without bias. So much of this is recent experience over the duration of roughly a year.

So I would recommend either an Old Calender Orthodox church (old calender is generally not as a cucked) if you want to go the Eastern route or the SSPX society if you want to go the Western route. The Western mass and Eastern mass are different in practice, but in essence the same. You also have to remember religion is not a game you play and then leave when it becomes unfavorable and the reason I say this is because the general tone of your post. It is not about what is your taste, but rather of god's. European high culture was built on logos and all this garbage that eventually lead to what we have today was as a result of many of the schisms. The churches that are pious and genuine from my experience are the two I mentioned earlier. Anything, but Orthodoxy and some more obscure branches of catholicism have been cucked to non-existence. The problem however, with Orthodoxy is that it is generally backed by an ethnic community, now this isn't an inherit problem some may argue it is a strength, but it means that you need to learn a language and make an effort thus making evangelizing more difficult. Anyways, if you join an Orthodox church avoid anything that is not of European heritage I have heard awful things about the Orthodox church in Ethiopia however the caucuses and middle eastern can be quite good as well.
