Where can I learn more about the Sunwheel Society? The FAQ is only about The Myth. I'll try and watch it when I get home.

What would you like to know? I know a few things though I don't know their real identities, etc. They are a small group with at least a couple in America and a few in Northern Europe. They're pretty secretive. I also know they are working on at least two more projects.

The full book is amazing, but very dense. They omitted most of Book 2 (Aesthetics). I can't believe they left out all the tasty bits about Gothic Architecture. heheh…

Any critique of the work from OP or anyone who has read/listened to it? The writing seems rather poetic and flowery, which may or may not tickle peoples' fancies.

I liked it a ton. The original book took me about three weeks to finish and I'm normally a very fast reader. It's just so dense with ideas. It's like reading Kant or Schopenhauer. The movie is something that you can literally watch in an evening with a bottle of wine. It's still four hours, but it's so much easier and more enjoyable. I like classic art so that probably helps.

Rosenberg is poetic. He was a true German Romantic and has that spirit in his writing. In other words, if you like Goethe or Schiller, you'll probably like him. That said, it's a much more powerful even militant book.

They thing that really blew me away both when I read the original and when I watched the movie is how much applies to right now!! That's why I'm excited about it most.

If you liked Rosenbergs book you should also read Houston Stewart Chamberlains foundations.
It's basically the predecessor and equally dense.>>6242509

I have and actually found it very convoluted and fairly boring. I know Rosenberg admired Foundations and Chamberlain – and maybe it was better in the original German – but it just doesn't even begin to compare with Rosenberg. I haven't read anything else by Chamberlain yet and he wrote many intriguing books, so maybe that's I need to dig deeper.

Rosenberg is so clear and powerful, even if you have to pay close attention. Chamberlain seems ready to go down any little back alley of thought and the really interesting ideas he has, like that thinking historical truth can be nearly applied to today, are really obscured as a result.

Sorry, I mean Chamberlain saying that it's a mistake to think historical truth or a golden age can apply in a pat fashion to now (because the extreme complexity and living evolution of a society makes whatever happens on the surface a result of numerous deep currents of time, race and culture). You really should watch the movie. I promise it's much, much, much easier than reading the book, not least of which because it's so much shorter.

The Myth is what race and soul are really about. It's essentially the nature of human existence and the human existence of nature. It's a truly beautiful concept and will change your life if you take the four hours.

Alternatively, read the abridgement as a PDF or listen to it as an audiobook. But do it! It's short and really will open your mind!

That's kind of the trouble with philosophy today, isn't it? People have the attention span of gnats, and most useful or at least interesting philosophy requires a bit of time to wander through.

Still, it is a useful exercise to try boiling down things into single kernels of intellectual assertion. What would be Rosenberg's major conclusions as someone who is invested in the work?

I've only read Rosenberg's "Political Essays" which is a selection of his journalism from the 1920s to the 1940s, and a good introduction to his ideas.

If you know at all what you're talking about, then you should be able to explain it in a few sentences, at least by referencing other philosophers and comparing/contrasting. As not OP and as someone who has watched only a few minutes of it so far, Rosenberg is arguing for the idea that racial makeup heavily influences the cultural character of civilizations, and therefore creating and maintaining racial purity and having rulership of said racial group over the others is necessary to create peace and prosperity in the world. OP would probably know if that is a fair assessment or not, and what else should be added to make the bite-sized edition accurate to Rosenberg's philosophy.

By the way, if you really want to question what he's saying, you need to read the whole thing. One thing that I observed is that the abridgement is so much shorter because it leaves out a lot of the historical proofs and arguments. The abridgement IS the core philosophy along with his many observations and applications formed around it. It's the important part. The full argument is found in the whole book.

Much of what is explained in part one, I had already come to the conclusion of, from independent observation and investigation. Although, there are some things I disagree with, but I have a very open mind, and I'm quite good at entertaining a thought.

For the most part, so far it basically says that every great European civilization, and India's old civilization, all came about basically exclusively because of Nordic migration. I'm wondering if this is isn't belittling all the other factors / peoples and races in past civilizations.

If it were the case, why has Nordic Europe not had constant hugely successful empires and civilizations with massive advancements in every field, if they have been purely Aryan? Why only when certain Nordic groups migrate somewhere or other do great civilizations emerge?

I was the same way on my first thread that got a lot of replies. Most virgin cherry popped OP's tend to act like over protective mothers, not realizing they are stifling discussion.

Some of Rosenberg's conclusions are based on fields on knowledge that were still in their infant stage. Unfortunately a lot of the genealogical information was lacking. But he was also right, about some things, concerning the Aryan influence on much of Asia and Africa.

King Tut having DNA from Europe is no coincidence. Blue eyed now extinct peoples in South America, hard to believe, but the Nordic Germanic history is mysterious and far reaching. So much has been deliberately destroyed.

Another point I'm at impasse with is his projections on Buddhism and Buddhist philosophy. Particularly his claim on Shakyamuni's approach to suffering.

Rosenberg spends quite a bit of time on Ahura Mazda and Zoroaster. Perhaps he did not know at the time, that Buddhism is heavily influenced by Zoroastrianism.

Virtue, honor, duty. The things Rosenberg espouses are core principles of the oaths taken in Buddhist Yogic and Tantric paths.

The full text posits an early northern group of people that radiated, presumably with the most recent Ice Age. He points out evidence of northern meteorological and astronomical phenomena in the mythology of early West Asian, Middle Eastern, and Northern African cultures linking them with more clearly Nordic/Germanic derived peoples. This is explored quite in depth in a number of other books (not by Rosenberg) and has only been strengthened by developments in linguistics (remember that proof of the commonality of Indo-European languages is actually quite recent) and even such genetic openings as the Neanderthals (shared also with Asians, demonstrating a common ancient ancestry).

Of course, this is all completely suppressed in the stifling amateur hour of modern anthropology and history, thanks in part to Franz Boas and the Jewish-led upset of Physical Anthropology. I mean, come on… Jared Diamond is a respected scientist??

His belief is that the race, which should be thought of more as the group ordering of the unique personality of YOU (the you that would be you regardless of the time period you lived in) than some particular skin color, is a far more important factor in what a civilization does than any other, just as you being you defines you much more than the style of clothes or language you use – though even these ultimately reflect your inner nature, the real you.

As far as other races and peoples, it's much more explored in Part 3, but basically he believes each ethnicity has it's own unique soul (it's Myth) which it must express and realize. He is a Nordicist in the sense of deeply admiring what he considers the Nordic soul, but also recognizes that it's just one component of several in European race, yet a crucial, uniting and binding force. However, he does NOT think that every other people should follow Nordic values or, more broadly, the Germanic racial soul. He believes they MUST follow their own racial soul. In a particularly poignant example, he states that the Western intrusion into China was onerous and dishonorable to the white race because it supplanted and harmed the Chinese racial myth, which (especially in the book) he lauds for many qualities.

So, basically he thinks every people is different and must follow their own essential nature. Anything else is unnatural and ultimately harmful.

The Germanic and Nordic blood has been linked to just about every major advancement in technology, science, art, philosophy, culture, and the study of history. There are some counter examples, but they utterly pale compared to Western Civilization. Of course, the only reason we think these things are so great is because of our fundamentally Germanic value system. What this means is that looking back at history with a Germanic perspective, we say "look, that culture had an advanced astronomical tracking system, how ingenious!" – but our valuation of it is Germanic to begin with. If a non-Westernized Nigerian looked at the same, they'd probably just scoff. They don't value it.

When you understand that your measuring rod is Germanic, you realize that of course Germanic civilization is superior. It just doesn't mean that it is superior per the valuation of other racial souls however.

His thoughts on China are dealt with more in the original, but he sees them as comparatively lacking that spark of seeking, that creative push towards discovery and invention that is Nordic. Instead, they are fundamentally conservative and relatively passive. Was the culture great? Not in the Germanic sense, but certainly in the Chinese sense.

Sorry, but there really is no Islamic culture. It was a raider cult that plundered plenty of interesting things and of which the most Nordic of its folks (e.g. later Persians) did some creative things, but it, like Judaism, is a Nature-defying yet Materialistic (this is a strange paradox Rosenberg explains) culture that lacks a sense of the truly spiritual – in the Germanic sense. For this reason there is no great Islamic art, no great Islamic creativity at all. Technical skill, yes, products of extensive labor, sure, lyrical beauty, occasionally. But anything really great in the Germanic sense? No.

This is the hidden history of the world. There is something in the Germanic heart that really is different from other people. You'll have a lot of reading to do if you want to really investigate the particulars, but it's also quite clear even in the modern world.

He believes that Buddhism (like Hinduism) derives from old correct Aryan wisdom, but essentially has degenerated into an over-intellectualized denial of Nature. In particular, he criticizes the ideas of Samsara and Nirvana as emblematic of a kind of fallacy deriving from the denial of Natural reality, which is itself the product of racial impurity. This is argued in a fairly complex way dealing with monism in the full text.

He never says "white power" and that we are always the best or anything like that. He believes every people must honor and awaken their own racial myth, essentially their own inner nature. From his perspective, anything else is sinful. It's akin to "to the own self be true" while recognizing the great diversity of peoples and persons.

I agree that Asia lacks the creativity, and individualism and compassion / empathy that the Western Empires have had.

And another thing I disagree slightly with is that the video talks about oriental beliefs in honour ruining Western cultures, despite him also saying Western cultures are all about individual / personal honour.

You mention about what race one would be regardless of time period and that it would be beyond skin colour. There are examples of certain people from a clearly different race being members of another culture, such as a few 'great' African generals being given Roman citizenship, and then there's the cases of mixed breeds where they always inevitably choose one of their halves to identify with and blend back in or live their lives without procreating, but in one of their 2 mother cultures.
What do you think about someone who is mixed but living in one culture, in terms of what single race they belong to regardless of time? For example, if an Indian and a Brit had a child, and this child grew up in England and was very much of English soul, maybe even didn't speak a word of Indian, and they looked half British, would their race then be British? If they went back in time would they be accepted as British? Well, he definitely doesn't believe Germany is purely Nordic, recognizing significant Alpine and Dinaric elements. Race is a funny thing. If you get your DNA done and play around at GEDMatch, you'll see that Europeans are essentially mixtures of a few basic components. But, that said, these components are not equidistant.

This is really key! The difference between what was considered in Rosenberg's time Nordic and Alpine is far less than the difference between e.g. Nordic and Sub-Saharan African. This is hugely significant because it means if you are, let's say 50% Nordic and 50% Alpine versus being 50% Nordic and 50% Yoruban (African), the Alpine component is already so similar to the Nordic component that you are effectively far more Nordic (remember genes are discrete, not continuous) than if you were half Yoruban.

They come from identifying and labeling population clusters e.g. Siberian and then creating a matrix of the distance between average shared genes of each cluster. The maximum distance is 1.0, meaning EVERY sequenced gene is different from one population to another – an impossibility for one human to another (given sufficient # of sequenced genes, blah blah).

This essentially the Nordic component. The Celtic component is called here "Atlantic". They are exceptionally similar, closer than any other distance in the entire matrix. So, the truth is that Nordic does not just mean Scandinavian, even if they are apparently closest to the original Northern race (from a mythical black sun land of Atlantis where the vril is sold in vending machines, I'm sure). Or maybe there was a migration of some going into the North and some along the Atlantic coast. Over a couple thousand years, they were each shaped by their environment, even though they were originally the same population. After the big melt, they recombined. Who knows… we're still figuring this out…

Anyways your average (current day) North German is 33% North Sea, 27.5% Atlantic, 13.4% Baltic, 10% Eastern European, 6.1% Western Med., and 5.2% West Asian, with the rest a bit of noise (honestly, they're dismissed under a threshold). But when you look at all these populations together, you realize that the genetic distance of each is really not that far. Even the pure West Asian (the original Aryans – modern Iranians are 33.9% West Asian component for reference) has an FST distance of only 0.029 from the Nordic component – not really that far from say the Baltic, at 0.02. There really is a strong consistency throughout… they are fully European, with a predominant North-Atlantic component, even if there is some ancestry shared all the way over to the original Aryans in ancient Iran!

On the other hand, an Ashkenazi Jew averages 9.9% North Sea, 10.7% Atlantic, 6.7% Baltic, 5.2% Eastern Euro, 14.8% West Med., 13% West Asian, 29.4% East Med., and 8.1% Middle Eastern. That 29.4% is the Semitic component. Attached is a map showing the highest levels of that component. This component is not as genetically distant from Nords as the "Arab" component of Middle Eastern, but you can see that these people are definitely from the Levant. They are the remnants of the very, very old culture that existed prior to the Aryan invasion (probably via the Hittites, but that's controversial), hence the fact that the Semitic language is not of Indo-European root. In fact, the Arab component is probably much more the "pure" original Semitic race (exactly as Rosenberg states!) and it's no accident that both Hebrew and Arabic are just about the only still living Semitic languages.

Point is, please don't get too hung up on the "Germanic" thing. Germany as a country is actually very new. Germanic is more the Nordic culture, as opposed to say Celtic. Despite these two brother cultures, they are genetically extremely close and the Nordic or Germanic qualities are shared throughout (regardless of exact proportion) the Western European people!

His concept of honor is very specific. The second chapter in the original book is called Honor and Love and it directly contrasts the idea of Christian "Fellow Feeling" with Germanic Honor.

You have to take the Neanderthal metrics with a grain of salt. They're still very unsophisticated. Personally, I think the hybrid theory is bunk – I think the truth is there's a very old original ancestor in White and Asian people that is not in African people, not that "everyone's common ancestor from Africa" racemixed with Neanderthals. Both are possible given the scientific genetic data, but the ancestral theory matches the archaeological evidence much better (see Homo heidelbergensis).

I think Madison Grant put it very well. Mongrelized people have a kind of inner chaos that makes them occasionally very creative and energetic, but also frequently unhinged. Mixed race people have tons of mental problems not just because they don't have a cultural identity. It's also because they are a jumbled person and the original racial unity of their component populations don't harmonize. As explained previously, this is more significant however distant or close the ancestral populations are. Therefore, a half Spanish, half Swede might be a little crazy, but probably has a lot more inner harmony than a half Pacific Islander, half Chinese. As such, the exact percentage or component is an inherently complex question.

Of course, there are other factors in breeding. Criminality, for example, probably derives from a relatively small amount of dominant genes. This suggests that the (alert the ADL!) quasi-sociopathic behavior of Jews towards Gentiles is easily preserved by Jews race-mixing. But, on the other hand, it could probably be upbreeded in relatively few generations, where even an octoroon is going to pass on vestiges for some time.

In the book Rosenberg attributes a kind of elevation of the corrupt anti-hero to the Russian literati and inner compass. Modern history has demonstrated a certain consistent acceptance of criminal type behavior within Slavic culture, unfortunately, despite many noble examples of behavior in the past. I think that Eastern Europe is a crossroads of the true European, Middle Eastern, and Asian cultures. Where you have this kind of mixing, there is some balkanization and predatory behavior. Folks are not all of one kind and it becomes much more acceptable to screw folks over. I don't know if this is really a genetic thing as much as social occurrence that is repeated wherever you have a mixture of different, distrusting cultures.

Racially they're not that different, but you do need to consider eugenic and dysgenic forces – such as mass exterminations by Communists in Russia (which I realize wouldn't wholly explain Rosenberg's view) or by Catholics in France. Maybe there were a few or maybe there was just one – but if there was one, it seems to have separated into different areas that evolved in significant isolation to be effectively different founding races. Imagine if a million Irish went to Tasmania and a million Irish went to Greenland (assume no other human populations). Now give it 500,000 years of evolution and history. If they went to an Irish reunion together, are they one race or two? The FST extremes show us that there are probably 4 or 5 major ancestral roots like that.

Interestingly, in the Track of the Jew, which was written much earlier, Rosenberg was more defensive of Christianity, especially since (as he amply documents) it is so loathed and attacked by Jews. I watched the two first videos yesterday. I understand how the first one can be too complex or maybe based in some things that create doubt, but the second one is GOLD. Seriously guys the second one is spot on in so many things

The first one, as mentioned before int he thread, is based in old antrophology and some stuff that is not 100% correct, and is also something normies won't accept since it basically says that Nordics are better than the rest (even if this is true, most of people don't wanna hear this truth)

Now the second part however is more specific, going to the basis of creating an state and especially his view on women. The women part is spot on, everything he said about them is basically happing right now with the "liberation of women" and he gives that hard redpill to swallow where women NEED to be different from men and take the incredible important task to defend their legacy instead of trying to do the same men do but worse. He then goes to explain how societies are formed, the role of race and culture on them, and how HONOR and DUTY are the two most important thing to create a society. He gives details about how to treat the economy, the organization of cities, immigration and a lot of stuff that I seriously think it's genius and gives you an idea why the Third Reich was so great.

In a nutshell basically is calling to stop using cities and the society as the playground for liars and jews that will destroy the fundations of society. Less people in cities, more power to farmers and basically anyone that generates ACTUAL richness and not fake richness like are now banks creating money out of nowhere. Respect for nature and integration of life of people with it to augmentate their own validation and identity instead of those huge cities where everyone forgets who they are and start creating "special snowflakes". Since cities are small, people would be able to vote for their representatives in their own communities, this way they REALLY know who they are voting. The vote needs to be known to the public so no one uses deceive or lies to grasp into power, and these representatives, all of them equal in power, would make the decisions for the country, meaning that instead of getting your usual horizontal society where classes are one above another, you get vertical societies where people from all classes have power over the entire pyramid.

I can't wait to see part 3, pretty interesting read. The language and how long it is may make it really hard to swallow, but it is worth it.

That's not true. Russia isn't mongrelized, it's heterogeneous. Everyone knows Russia, the biggest country in the world iirc, has numerous races in it. embed the subs in the video file (soft subs) for optional use, or release a new encode with other language's audio/subtitles.

also there's artifacting around and on hard subs (see image), soft subs will not have this problem as they're not part of the encode.
the user could also scale the subs to their liking if need be.

the H256 encode doesn't have that high of a bitrate either, the video gets all jpeg-y. if you're not encoding from the source, just don't do it.
it was that size for a reason, the image resolution doesn't mean shit if there's no detail. I'd release that over the low bitrate H265 encode, for the visual detail and compatibility.

Alfred Rosenberg is a big role player and held a big position in the Reich. Starting to read the book "Political Essays by Alfred Rosenberg" (translated by Alexander Jacob) which showcases many essays he wrote when he was editor for the Voelkischer Beobachter. I encourage others to read it or look into it. Very interesting what he envisioned the German and European future to be (or should have been).

PDFs are common malware and spyware vectors. ePub is much safer for now. TXT is even better, but for some reason, people like their 6MB text only PDFs.

Unless the Internet Archive added it, I personally attest that the PDF is virus-free. It is in common 6"x9" format and is Creative Commons licensed so could easily be make available as a book on Amazon, etc by anyone if they so wish. But, by all means – read the e-Pub if you'd rather. I think a great way is by reading actual paper books without pictures.

If you never do that currently, I would recommend starting in the bath so there are few distractions/interruptions and it's very inconvenient to go do something else. You can just relax and enjoy what you're reading. Try at least a half hour at a time and choose a subject you're very interested in. Work up to longer times and more "turgid prose".

I have read Alfred Rosenberg's book. It's really hard to read and seems like it was translated poorly from German. The language in it assumes you know a lot about Greek history and mythology in general, but once this election is over it would be fun to read again

So I just finished watching the movie and I believe this is a very important film. When I say "very important" I'm ranking this material (book or movie) on par with TGSNT.tv. It is, as others have indicated, very dense and requires active watching. Below are my thoughts after watching it last night and thinking a lot about it today.

The Myth is a very high level framework from which to integrate a lot of other disparate pieces of information. It is a lens through which comprehension of the entire flow of history can be achieved. It is a unified philosophy of racialism, and seeks to comprehend complex historical problems and the general narrative of history through this racialist lens.

The prevailing myth of a people acts as its fundamental uniting force and spiritual fuel that then produces their unique outpouring of cultural fruit. The philosophy, thesis, or framework (whichever you choose) takes it as a given, obvious, historical fact that different peoples necessarily produce their own unique culture, and that this prevailing myth is really an achieved understanding of their own spiritual identity. This spiritual identity is both an understanding of who the people are today, as well as who they have been for centuries or even better, millenia. This realization has the effect of appearing as "ancestor worship" but it is in fact only self-discovery.

The movie attempts to peer back through ancient Aryan and Germanic civilizations, from the pre-Christian through the Christian and into the present in order to point out the common theme of how multiculturalism and miscegenation have always worked to undermine the prevailing myth of a people. In order for this "achieved understanding of ones own spiritual identity" as a people, one must be a racially static people. Racial pollution destroys the prevailing myth by changing the people (i.e., "Diversity" really is a code-word for White Genocide, and it achieves this through Spiritual Genocide). Once racial homogeneity is undermined, the outpouring of culture halts or becomes squelched, the civilization becomes decadent, and eventually it declines or collapses.

The movie may appear "nordicist" and only talks about Aryan and Germanic tribes, but fundamentally this mechanism is true for all people. In order for a people to achieve their potential, they must "Know Thyself" spiritually, which can only happen if that people isn't in a state of racial flux. The depths of expression for a people can only be explored and probed when that people are in a state of cohesive order, otherwise the architectonics[1] are stunted, whereby the result is very similar to shallow forms of media we know so well today.

The movie will also appear to attach Christianity, and many Christians will lose interest, but understand that it's analysis and comprehension of the impact of Christianity is solely to understand it's impact on the prevailing myth of our people historically. It attempts to show that the reason Christianity was modified, many times, was because the prevailing myth of our tribes was solid and could only be co-opted. The point of the movie is not to make pronouncements on Christianity, as it takes 1000+ different forms, but to probe and analyze what the prevailing myth of Aryan and Germanic tribes were and how that conflicted or complimented the tenets of Christianity.

if the old/ending etruscans were what the romans grew up around, it could be that the subversion and corruption of spirit-culture into symbol-degeneracy was quite real. it would explain the roman disgust, grünwedel's findings millenniums later, and rosenberg's acceptance of the conclusions: they were all quite fitting of the omnipresent jewry degeneracy being universally struggled against in the early 1900s.

it actually is… historically consistent. there's no way in hell frozen over that the etruscan similarities to jewish behaviors and vice versa would not have been acutely apparent to rosenberg. some bleeding over of the later's behavior to fill in the former's historical gaps unable to be sourced by grünwedel may be likely, but not unwarranted.

The Sunwheel Society ( sunwheel.politicallyincorrect.work ) is going to release a new video in a couple of days to coincide with Bernie Sander's endorsement of Clinton. This video is short, about 5 minutes long, and is made to help frustrated, yet blue-pilled people come to understand the values and ideas that are key to the future.
Sunwheel's first video was The Myth, a four hour abridged video version of Alfred Rosenberg's The Myth of the Twentieth Century (it can be watched here youtube.com/watch?v=X77dkiDpBoM ). The new video reflects many of The Myth's values, but was made in a way to gently shift people outside of the Young Turks vs Brietbart shell game while being completely honest and direct.
This new video is a tremendous opportunity to help a large population see past the lies and begin their own journeys to real change, whether through National Socialism or another path.
When they released The Myth, Sunwheel asked me to promote it and publish it for them (I own politicallyincorrect.work and once fell on a keyboard in a way that caused code to compile), which I was happy to do so. They've asked for my help again and this time I'm asking for YOUR help, because I'm an old fart and you are so much better at this.
I can supply webspace, coding, and petty cash, but there are three things that are needed which are difficult for me to do:
1) The promotion of this video in mainstream and alternative-left bastions, such as reddit, Facebook, etc
2) The promotion of this video within the right and its ready availability to people who can make good use of it
3) Translations from English to other languages using the subtitles file (no hard-coded subs with this one)
