Trump has proven that he runs his business as a meritocracy. He doesn't give a shit what you are as long as you can do your job well. A bit more civic than I'd like, but I'm not expecting him to be full 1488. Not to mention that it's illegal to let go of someone for sexual orientation anyway
He's been taking money from the GOP fund specifically to support the nominee, and he said he'd be doing so from the beginning. Much different than special interest contributors. It's the GOP that's beholden to whoever donated to that fund, not Trump

The man's a rabid egotist who's obsessed with himself. Meaning that he cares about his image and his legacy. He wants to be the next Julius Caesar. He can't do that if he does a bad job, and he knows it. I don't care if he's doing it for America or for himself, either way I still benefit.
Which he publicly acknowledges. He rubbed elbows with all the political figures on all sides, and he's been honest with the American people about it.
