Occult comes from Latin occultus meaning hidden or secret.

Esoteric means something that will only be understood by a few people.

It sounds like you need to develop the ability to see the hidden meaning in everything. You have to realize that there is no single book that will solve everything for you. Any book claiming to do that shouldn't be read, or read with more caution than usual.

The whole point is to help you develop the ability to see what someone is trying to tell you beyond just the words they are saying. Most Holla Forumsacks are already good at this since they don't buy into normie propaganda, but there's more to understand beyond this.

The two meme books that have alot of fans here is The Kybalion and Franz Bardon's Initiation into Hermeticism. The Kybalion is average, and spends lots of time telling you that it can explain to you the secrets, but there isn't enough space in the book, which is bullshit. Franz Bardon was put in a concentration camp in Nazi Germany for not agreeing with their esoterics. Take that for what you will.

I recommend Evola's Ride the Tiger and Hermetic Tradition as starter books. You can apply the first immediately as it describes a situation that most anons are in prophetically and the second is a better and more information dense tl;dr of Hermeticism than the books usually recommended.

This guy is on the right track, but if you actually read it, it's pretty shit (an entire chapter describing some guy at a diner with mermaid demons, everything else is vague as fuck).

A better version of this book is Prometheus Rising. Written by someone who was bluepilled on some things, but it does it's job in trying to get you to see things differently.

Don't limit yourself to books that purpose themselves as esoteric works. In fact, once you develop the ability to "read through the lines" in everything, I would avoid it completely. Read Joseph Cambell's The Hero with a Thousand Faces and familiarize yourself with human archetype and myth. If you feel like a bad enough dude who doesn't fear anything, try to use what you learned here and understand what The Iliad and The Odyssey was trying to tell people. Protip: You can't fully due to poor translation, but try anyway.

Obligatory reminder to read the Greeks as you would a meme magic manual as well. Can't go wrong with anything popular, but Heraclitus is often overlooked here.
