Satire is usually supposed to hide itself a little bit in subtlety, but then there are moments where characters will just stop whatever they're doing to rant about political correctness and even if I agree that political correctness is horseshit, I don't want the whole show to stop to start explaining it about how bad it is. I get it, but this is almost as bad as how comic book characters like Squirrel Girl will just stop to discuss pronouns or whatever the fuck. Other than that, the show is bland and the regular jokes are your typical "deconstruction of sci-fi tropes" shtick, which gets old after about the second joke.

From what I've seen bob's burgers isn't exactly the pinnacle of appealing to the internet. To do that you need quotable lines and lolsorandum non sequiturs. You need some kind of shallow philosophical statement that refuses to veer into any uncomfortable territory but is emphasized just enough to get a checkmark in the "deep" category. You need to have some sort of long term plot that is only briefly alluded to once every couple episodes, maybe expanded slightly upon in series premiers and finales, so that faggots can go crazy with long-winded "theory" reddit and tumblr posts. You need to some sort of subversion or satirical aspect that either shows the realistic consequences of a cartoony action or something cartoony otherwise portrayed realistically or contrasted with some element of realism somehow. You need to be 'wittier' or 'edgier' than the last show, with gags that aren't funny in and of themselves but are perceived as funny because of the taboo places they go. Women are almost never hired based on merit. People can say it's on merit, but there's no way to verify that's the case. Given how the writers for Rick and Morty have shown they're very much on the 'progressive' bandwagon, it's easy enough to guess that when they came across some women that could join up that they just went with them.

Season 1 was fun. Season 2, not so much.
