Think Azov Battalion etc. Put the stencil on your helmets (THIS IS SO YOU CAN IDENTIFY/FIND EACH OTHER). Get a helmet with a smoked or mirrored visor and make sure it is a FULL FACE MASK helmet. The smoked/mirrored visor is so LEFTISTS CANNOT identify you or record you. Leave you ID's at HOME!

2. Get a cheap motorcycle body-armor as another user mentioned in this thread. They run about $50.

3. Get a Shock Doctor Compression Short with CUP for your nuts. No really. Wear it under your clothes. $20.

4. Then get some black or navy blue combat trousers and a solid pair of black boots and polish them. $70.

5. Get a Louisville Slugger Youth 125 Baseball bat. Another $20. Create a wrist strap that connects securely to the base of the bat. You can do this with a drill and a bit of Paracord. This way you cannot be easily disarmed. I suggest you guys pick a color and spray paint the bats the same.

Get a cheap pair. And yes I would say they might be the most important piece of gear on that list just behind the helmet.

They protect your ankle/feet, and the steel-toe in most of them can really do some damage if you have to kick someone.

Go to a thrift shop or Army-surplus or buy some used ones. Douche them out with some disinfectant, then scrub them down with a green-scratchy pad on the outside.

Put about 4 coats of polish on after that and they'll be good as new. Wash the laces or buy new ones.

I bet you could get a serviceable used pair for $15.

I'll also recommend a slingshot that can be easily concealed until needed.

A slingshot with billiard balls/golf balls would give decent standoff capability and more hitting power than simply throwing shit.

Also, carry high strength pepper spray for subduing/blinding enemies. Remember, if you attack one of them and begin to win, they'll all attack. They have no honor. So just fuck them up.

And a few members should be CCing in case shitskins want to up the ante.. If this prevents them from attending the event itself, its fine, have them stand outside at a meeting point.

Finally, have secure modes of transportation in and out of the area. This is not really to escape protesters but to escape police if the protesters start accusing you of doing shit. Either link up with other guys or arrange transport. Don't depend on public transit or unknown individuals, even if they are Trump supporters.

I'll also expand on some more intense options, depending on who shows up.

If you're going to be up against run of the mill protesters similar to what we've seen in most Trump rallies, there's no need to employ these tactics.

However, if you're dealing with Black Bloc or street gangs, you may need some additional firepower.

Cheap and effective. Can be made for $5 dollars a pop. If they start throwing molotovs, you start throwing molotovs. NEVER USE OTHERWISE. We have shields they don't. And molotovs/thrown weapons are best used in a volley in situations like this. So have guys throw 10 or 20 at a particularly nasty group to disperse them.

Aim for the eyes/face. Try to aim for at least 400FPS. I know airshit pellets can cause damage at close range at those speeds, so BBs will be extra nasty.

Believe it or not tear gas can be bought by civilians. Just know when you need to use them. They are also expensive and have limited radius of effect, so perhaps cheaper OC grenades would be better. Fox Labs makes a very good 4 oz bug-bomb style OC grenade for quick deployment.

Smoke grenades are more for concealment during movement. Not essential but could be useful. If you have an airshit store in town, they sell small ones (30,000cu/ft or white smoke) for under $10. I would use those. Sport Smoke is good.

If they get really fucking confrontational, use roman candles to make them back off. A marine flare pistol similar to the ones sold at Walmart would work too, but I'm not sure what the laws would be concerning that.

Can protect you from tear gas from your team/cops but requires sacrificing your head protection (maybe buy a cheap steel helmet?). IDK. Maybe smart to bring along.

You mass produce these fucking things, have em stashed in a U-Haul somewhere, and if things get squirrely you start handing them out to the participants; or, even better, a crew of guys who HAVE been preparing by training for use in such a thing, and how to cooperation in a vague formation (not equivalent to live training with one another, but probably decent in a pinch).
This would be an especially effective tactic as regards the Convention in Cleveland.

That said, if you're talking your average Trump event, and you don't have several guys to coordinate beforehand or at least the capacity to have some materials stored on-site, if you're going solo or in much smaller groups (less than 4), then I would have to agree that your suggestion of a smaller shield would be more tactically advantageous.

In all seriousness, the extensive legal fees/trouble are a legit argument. Perhaps we should take some lessons from the left and have rightist lawyers work pro-bono on behalf of our people. The question then becomes though, how do we recruit such people? I know there are a few here, but we'll need a bigger network.

Another legit point. There needs to be a network of people dedicated to funding people who have this happen to them. Are neetbux a decent option for such people?

And if the system fails us with that, then maybe its time to take off the gloves.

a good idea might be to get some of those green laser pointers from ebay. They draw a line of light through the air that makes them easy to aim, and they only cost $5-6 each. Shine one of those in somebody's eyes and it'll suck.

Some of this is good, some of it is a bit over the top. I'd say get the motor cycle armor, get a cup (and jock strap or compression shorts), get the smoked goggles, face mask and helmet, knee pads, and then you're good to go. Shields can be made out of panes of polycarbonate or even wood board. You shouldn't need the boots, because it's not exactly easy to stomp somebody's foot without them seeing you and moving out of the way first, and unless you're a shaolin monk you better not be throwing kicks.
