I was reading about the Black Sun, the ancient mystical image found as an occult image on the floor of the SS Wewelsburg Castle.
It is an image of the Sun containing elements of the Svastika, also a solar image. The Sun was seen by the Nazis as the greatest physical manifestation or visible manifestation of the power of God.
In my twenties, I had spent 10 years as a Hindu monk living in a monastery.
One day, I had finished my early morning rituals and meditation and retreated to the ashram (monastery) to take a short nap. I lay on my back, on the floor, head facing east.
At approximately the time the sun was rising, I had a powerful vision.
I was climbing up a lush green mountain side looking down into a valley. I saw a circle of lightening strike the ground of the valley very powerfully.
Next I was in the middle of this circle looking upward into the sky at a spinning disk or chakra. It was moving clockwise slowly. The disc was brilliant and shining from all sides.
The center of the disc was empty and a bright luminous light was emanating from it. The disc itself was formed from all sorts of colors and geometrical shapes. The geometrical shapes looked similar to the square swastika like pattern of the black sun. These shapes were illuminated like stained glass from the light behind the disk.
I begin to feel the heat of the disc on my face. I was aware I was lying on my back and felt like my face was burning from the vision. I prayed to please remove the vision as it was too hot.
I awoke.
Here is my interpretation as well as an insight into the mystery of this symbol and into Nazi occultism.
As the Nazi's believe, the Sun is a powerful representative of the power of God within this world. The stained glass like geometrical patterns represent this material world made of material elements. The light behind, shining through the center, illuminating and spinning the wheel, is the light of God, or the light of Brahman. God animates this world although separate from it, just as the Sun animates our weather patterns but is separate from them. This body is illuminated by the soul in the same way this world is illuminated by God.
The lightening is connected to the Sun in a way I do not understand, but it seemed to herald the Sun in my vision. It was an expression of tremendous power announcing the presence of divinity.
The idea of the Sun as a representative of God is ancient and found in every culture. The Ancient Egyptians saw the Sun as the soul and life force of the universe. The priests would pray to the Sun as a manifestation of God (Amun Ra) three times a day, sunrise, midday and sunset.
Similarly in India, the priests or brahmanas, chant the Brahma Gayatri mantra three times a day at the three at sunrise, midday and sunset. The Sun is seen as a manifestation of Gods power. The light of the Sun is directly the light of Brahman or the light of the transcendental plain beyond matter, the platform of the soul, manifesting through the power of the Sun god (Vivasvan). The Sun god is a conduit of the power of the Supreme God who is situated in his heart as he is situated in the hearts of all entities next to the soul.
Mind you this is esoteric stuff. Essentially, the Sun is a manifestation of Gods power and glory in this world, through which all life is maintained.
The Seig Heil is also an ancient salute to the Sun.
At the time, I had associated this vision with the Sudarshana Chakra a divine spinning disk and weapon of God that has connections to the Sun. Now I understand more clearly, it was a vision of the Sun as a manifestation of the divine spiritual power which moves and gives life to this world.
I believe this is precisely the power the Nazi Occultists were revering. This is also likely the form of worship practiced by the ancient Germans and Celts.
Perhaps this was what was worshiped at Stonehenge, as the Greeks had mentioned a massive stone Sun temple in the ancient British Aisles.
