a running narrative to all this nonsense is the belief that racism is prejudice+power. since nonwhites don't have power they can't act on their prejudice, therefore racism towards whites (or reverse racism, or however else it's defined) cannot exist.
but let's take a closer look. the modern day KKK doesnt hold power in the US-their political and social strength has been broken. by the above definition they therefore are not, and cannot, be racist. they can be prejudiced, certainly, but they have no means to act on their prejudice. because the KKK ultimately lost the historical battle over civil rights, they also were weaker than their opponents. they had less power, and again by the above definition were not and cannot be considered racist.
now honestly, nobody believes that the KKK wasn't racist because that's an absurd belief. of course they were racist, they openly supported racist beliefs and we're proud of it. but while this belief may be idiotic, there is still widespread and institutional support for a definition of racism as privilege+power, widely taught in college textbooks and courses and vigorously defended on social media. we have a situation where an illogical belief is actually enshrined and perpetuated within academia under the guise of education.
another point to consider, is why power is part of the equation at all? if the definition doesn't make sense, why choose to anchor it to the concept of power, the ability to act on ones belief instead of, say, attaching the concept to logos or ethose? curiously what this has done as a side effect is it debases humans down to pure will, creatures who are interested in power and how to exercise it over others. in this definition, humans are not rational actors or even capable of rational thought, but are instead beings of powers, brutality and violence. this is one of the strangest underlying beliefs of many leftist and social justice advocates and should be deconstructed further.

That they try to turn it into "whites bein mean to blacks!" is so ultimately pathetic, and an strong indictment into the idea that multiculturalism can work. If it isn't a two way street, as "whites can't suffer racism" implies, there will be war.

That sentence alone is already proof enough that there is indeed racism against whites.

It's not strange at all, it's actually very simple. Logic, rationality, ethic are just interpretation and tools and analysis, power is at the base of it and both the left and the right understand this, especially today. The left would emphasize the underdog as not having enough power, until they do, then the whole damn thing repeats itself, but mind you they don't take their own ideas this far and don't understand the cyclical nature of power as the right does. The key point is an understanding of linear progress vs. the cyclical understanding of power transference. If the evil big bad racist is overthrown we'll have equality forever and non-whites will never ever abuse the power that would be given to them. Right-wing politics is a reaction to this, and is very much in the spirit of Thomas Hobbes, by saying that no, non-whites will then becomes the bad guys, as we're seeing more and more, day by day. Their definition of racism as you pointed out with that interesting example of the KKK has plenty of loopholes. The left aren't terribly foresighted or intelligent, they just hold hegemony over academia and enforce it ruthlessly. The hope is that white people, especially the plebs, will wake up. I experienced racism just last night.
