Not sure if this is archived so I hope it's not..
Isn't it basically Catholic Church doctrine whicih lead this idea that an adult may not be with a minor? I mean I know ephebophilia is considered normal and that's attraction to males/females who are post-puberty so about 13 or 14 on up, and usually 'developed'. I know that in Ancient Egypt it wasn't the way it is today here in America and much of the world, and that in modern Brazilian tribes (i'll get the name of the tribe if I can which I know of) 40 something year old men marry very young girls. I have a theory, and I know it may be wrong of course, but it's basically as follows:
The guilt/shame and 'ruined childhood' or even 'ruined life' of a girl at least, who has been having sex in a NON violent way with an adult since a young age, say 11 or 12 comes from the fact that "society" views this person as a victim automatically. Thus they make themselves to be victims in their own minds. Thoughts?
