Valve's latest games have been shit and Gabe has become the Jew.
If it does come out it will be irrelevant and unremarkable just like DNF.
HL3 was hype not because every game in the franchise is great, but because every game made by the studio was great. This is no longer the case. It doesn't matter if they release a new game or not when what made them great is dead.

Why do you think Valve hasn't made HL3 yet? It would be one of the most commercially successful games imaginable just because of its name. But Valve knows that it would be a disappointment. They know it would kill a large part of the fame they have been coasting on in recent years, so they don't make it.
