Metaphysics by Aristotle.

Stoicism

Read Plato, Evola, Guenon, Aquinas and Dante you little fuck.

Educate yourself scumlord

Why can't there be a spiritual world and a natural world?

Of courshe there can be one. Problem is, there is no known way to distinguish between two.

The Magus of Java.
Christian gook has Taoist principles and is a bad ass martial artist. Racist as hell too.

Spirituality is by definition the denial of worldly matters. It also eventually leads to misjudgements like "Weeeell science has shown that niggers are not really human buuuuuut maybe there is more to all of this and we should treat them nicely regardles???"

Being so smart, you should realise that the vast majority of people just aren't. Frameworks and guidelines help to direct those people in a certain direction, and since as long as we can remember religion has played that role - replaced in the modern age by a religion of state and ideology and a shunning of potentially purer faith frameworks.

But of course, religion and philosophy could have no net benefit for a society could they? That's just absurd.

Stuff by Cicero is dank.

The fuck is this.

It's like you don't even into metaphysics

Hinduism is fascist as fuck. All about killing your enemies and subjugating niggers with the caste system.

Medidtations by Marcus Aurelius. Its a bit of a read, very repetitive, but its a journal he wrote to himself (the name in greek literally being 'to himself') but it is a must read, and there is no other book like it in the history of the written word

Cicero is perhaps the greatest orator of all time. His writings started the renaissance 1500 years after he died, and his influence on latin (and prose in general) was so greatthat all western writing was said to be either imitating or reaction against his style

The Upanishads, presocratic philosophy, the Tao Te Ching, Confucius' Analects, and Hermann Hesse.

Cicero was a pussy who got his shit kicked in by the almighty Caesar.

I discard the notion of spirituality. Yet there is much in the physical universe we don't understand that can be explained by science once we can test it.

The notion of 'metaphysics' is overused and implies some kind of spiritual consciousness that is outside of physics itself. If metaphysics outside of of physics, it only means that a scientific understanding isn't know right now because testing is difficult or not possible now.

Antony killed Cicero you fucking retard, Octavian argued against making Cicero an enemy of the state, and was extremely upset after he had been labeled so anyways, and he only reluctantly agreed to letting him be killed because continued opposition would have threatened the second triumvirate

History has shown us that Caesar and not Cicero's preferred form of government was best but both men were friendly (in the 'worthy adversary' sense – Caesar even invited Cicero to be part of the first triumverate but he declined) towards another and always acted in what they believed was the best interest of the Roman Republic.

In short, you are a terrible faggot stay inglorious

>>>Holla Forums

Hegel, Spinoza, "Chronicle of the Guayaki Indians", any deep study on the way pre-neolithic savage tribes see the world, etc.

You can understand human sense of spirituality. But you can't really experience it anyway. Our whole social landscape is making this impossible. It's a common, human experience, not some lonely fetish you create in your mind.

Here are a few

...

Aurelius was a weakling and a literal cuck responsible for ending Rome's Golden Age with his incompetence, and Stoicism is agency denying degeneracy.

Cicero was an autiste who seemingly crossed over from a reality where Rome wasn't going to shit.

Stoicism!

It's not a dogma so you can include the viciious teachings of Heraclitus who came up with the entire idea… There is no "stoic" authority, only:
Nature as the authority, Reason as the guide, and the inner-flame that fuels our will to power (Logos). Yes, some Stoics were pussies like Buddha, and Buddha/Jesus stole from them… But we know more about Nature and Man now than ever.

Not the apathetic Christianized revised version of Stoicism (Like Islam and Jews, Christians want to destroy all competitors and rewrite history)

Not a philosophy. It's an analysis.

Pretty much this.

Some faggot once said "Religion is the opiate of the masses."

He was right. You can't just take away an addict's drug and not expect further degeneration. Look at the state of modern day atheism. It's nihilism. Navel-gazing, aimless, bent on the destruction of themselves and everything around them. It's a withdrawal symptom from having their spiritual drug taken away.

Superstition isn't going anywhere, it just changes forms. Let it at least take a form that is sustainable and promotes better living.

FALSE Jew worshiper

Auralius spent his fucking like in the black forests and swamps killing Germans himself, all while physically sick. He was the Emperor that SAVED Rome.
And much like Nero, they murdered his son and re-wrote the history. Jews and Catholics and your enemies will always lie about history.

Marx said that and you know it.

Nature is the Church authority we need.

Reason our guide

Fire and Water our soul and blood

Our heroes as the archetypes…

Fuck Jew worship

Your idiocy is hilarious. Stoicism is gateway Cuckstianity. Also, read a book nigger:

And, importantly, you fucking liar:

C U C K

Mike?

I'm a fan of Pirsig's metaphysics of quality.

It cuts through the Jewish subjectivism/objectivism false dilemma pretty nicely.

Spot on.

Straight out of Epictetus - don't take any pride in your nation-state or your people. Stoicism is about not giving a shit what happens to you.

Don't be that guy.

Non-middle easterners who worship a middle easterner religion have a cucked spirituality and culture. The natural European spirit and talent is in complete opposition to your beliefs.

Why don't you go cleanse the feet of muh refugees, traitor?

goooood goyim

The Interior Castle is top tier though

There are hundreds of gigs of books available for download from /fringe/ and fringechan.org/library

The Analects – Confucius
Mediations – Marcus Aurelius
Havamal – user
Thus Spoke Zarathustra – Nietzsche

These are fundamental.

You wikipedia faggot

Aurelius wasn't even a Stoic

Ummm then why did he give it all to a General when he was dying? But then he didn't die and the General betrayed him, so when he was on death's door he gave it to his son.

Well, if they were cheap then he would of been doing them for nothing. Germans eventually conquered Rome and would have if not for Aurelius. EVERY historian knows this.
Something Jew worshiping Christslaves wont tell you.

In other words, you're a FUCKING LIAR — and you are FUCKING LIAR — and

YOU ARE A FUCKING LIAR

Stopped reading right there

sage

Christian papist shills are literally asking who is who because how else will you get your next fancy hat?

Read Descartes, Hobbes and Spinoza, the rationalists. Read Kant and Hegel. Read Aquinas, Aristotle, Plato, Augustine, and the Bible. Read Wittgenstein; study formal logic; learn the difference between a formal fallacy, a fallacy of inference, and an informal fallacy. Read Vox Day's little essay on arguing and then go back and read Aristotle's Rhetoric again, and read Schopenhauer on rhetoric and Nietzsche on Truth and Lie in an Extramoral Sense. Then learn a ton of math and statistics to keep your mind screwed on right. Get good at a sport and a strategy game; learn at least one foreign language.

Dawg, Spinoza is the KMac of the 17th century. Read Tractatus Theologico-Politicus before you come to me about your jewish ethnocentrism.

lol, all fields huh?

As being redpilled is a state of reaction to the culturally dominant leftist forces of cultural marxism (anti-nativism and anti-masculinity), a redpilled spirituality is any that pisses leftists and Marxists off.

Therefore Christianity and its aberrations and racialist neo-paganism.

Atheist non-spirituality is also quite acceptable, but it is important that it stem from real inquiry and a logical positivist attitude. Thoughtless regurgitation of the atheistic ethos, so popular among the dumbass edgelords of our age, is unacceptable. Authenticity in all things is important. This is where hipsterism and redpilledness converge, but I digress.

Redpill is more than a reaction to the left - it is also a reaction to the false controlled right. We wouldn't be in this mess if neocons were actually conservative.

Duncan?

How do I get into philosophy? Is it even worth the time?

If neocons are not actually conservative, but instead leftist puppets and neocons make up the false controlled right does that not mean that this false controlled right is actually just another part of the left? Are they not just another part of the cultural Marxist beast?

The projection in each of your posts is so hardcore. Are you actually mentally ill? Those points in particular are taken from the lecture notes of one Professor J. Rufus Fears, based upon Plutarch's Parallel Lives and informed by contemporary sources and studies:

Meanwhile:

Real weak application of ethos, you cuck worshipping fuck.

Have faith.

Not in gods.

Not in your country.

Not even in your fellow men.

Have faith in yourself, and all will be well.

Might is Right!

thundermark.files.wordpress.com/2014/07/might-is-right.pdf

Good God Holla Forums.

I thought some of you read the monthly ebook threads we have, looks like I was wrong.

I just finished reading A Handbook of Traditional Living ( en.metapedia.org/wiki/A_Handbook_of_Traditional_Living ) , and to me its one of the shortest and best summarized books out there including Evolian aspects. Every one on this thread should read it, just look it up on the ebook list.

...

Cara Delevingne

No, not red pilled.

Just Ride The Tiger

Evola is a great gateway into esoteric reading. He's a decisively 20th century man providing a window into the age before Enlightenment and helps one down the path of realizing just what horseshit it all became after

The ringing cedars series is very traditional and purports to be the religion of Europe prior to the pozzing of Christianity, Judaism and Islam.

Nice

This tbh. I'd also recommend Mircea Eliade. Very nice complementary reading to Evola

These posts are all good. If more anons were to read Guenon, Evola, and Eliade, the Christian v. Pagan threads would stop being a thing.

Plato's

Menon
Ion
The Symposium
Apology
Crito
Phaedo
The Republic
The Phaedrys

Plotinus'
Six enneads
and quite specifically: On intelligible Beauty

In that order if you can. The origin of virtue and beauty and order is particularly interesting to me.

The guy spent most of his life killing Germans in the swamps of the black forest with health problems

He saved Rome from total destruction as like 70% of the population was dead from the pluage and the forien hordes started to push in.

He gave his throne to a General as he laid dying and recovered. His son took the title later, and was murdered and defamed by his enemies who took control.

He served his country under the worst times and kept it from total destruction,

You're a fucking liar

Never wrote a thing

eddas/ vedas (from the same root)

aryan history/ mythology is the only worthwhile spirituality, all else is cuckery and intellectual masturbation

Hey, that's the one with Souldozer in it.

Just finished reading a book on Stoicism, the only good thing about it is the encouragement of desiring honor, fortitude and not being a hedonist. Seneca wrote some pretty interesting stuff worth reading but Epictetus pisses me off every time I read his works, it's literally just: "if terrible shit happens to you remember to pretend like it's nothing, if you do that you're basically free." Epictetus is the philosopher of slaves and encourages a slave mentality.

Nietzsche's critique of the central stoic doctrine: 'live according to nature' BTFO out of stoicism. He said 'how can you not do that? why make a philosophy out of what you yourself must be?'

being redpilled would mean you have read and you know about most of the things of importance. there is no easy way my dude.
