A lot of people are theorizing it's a fake out of some sort, because the advertisers know the fanbase is full of Starco shippers and that a trailer with a scene like that will get their attention.

That scene is likely from early on in season 2, and Star and Marco both have crushes on different people, which probably won't be resolved for a while.

How did Star do in terms of ratings compared to WoY? The reason for Star's second season being ordered was due to the immense buzz it generated on the internet (shittons of fanart were produced solely due to a leaked trailer camrecorded from some con.) But I think Star was renewed for the 3rd season (after the 1st season was over) was because Disney needed a new replacement for Gravity Falls.

idk, I liked the movie, it was comfy.
Kinda Reddit meme tryhard at some times but that's most fault of redditors memeing the movie since the very first trailers more than anything the movie did.

I know reddit users suck visual stylized cock hard but that's reddit users fault, if a director has personal style there's nothing wrong with some visual/musical/comedy stuff in their movies.
