A really smart guy, who just did not understand Marxism and unfortunately had to shit on Communist ideology (which is the greatest ideology) but fucking over the people of his country. I respect him for bringing communism to the forefront of politics for a while, but he really disgraced the entire purpose of marxism which is that the government serves for the people (both proletariat and bourgeois).

You understand that without CCCP russia might not even exist today? They achieved fastest industrialization in human history, increased literacy rate, permanent food security, liquidation of capitalist exploitation (like zionism) and much more.
The only problem was that everyone, from simple peasant to the famous politician had to agree on everything party leadership in Moscow told, which brought end to them.

Obviously, without Communism, Russia would be nothing today, and for that we have to give Lenin some credit. But to me, communism is designed to serve the people, and when the people are forced to join an ideology lest they want a gun in their mouth - those people are not living under communism.
I believe that a government should shape and breed its people to be a certain type of working communist, but I also believe that people should have the ideological freedom to say they don't agree with everything the party does.

I'll do some more research on him, but so far he seems really cool. Although I am a bit sketched out by him as Wikipedia says he tried to make the party more liberal, which I'm not actually for. I just think the party should have been less paranoid and violent.
