Meanwhile, taxes always result in the consolidation of wealth and property by the state. Governments always get bigger and more bureaucratic over time. By your same game theory, eventually all property will be owned by the state, because receiving taxpayer money is more profitable than working for a living and paying into the system.

I watched the Angry Birds movie today and while it may have had some shortcomings in terms of pacing and, you know, being an adaptation of a shitty phone game, it was refreshingly free of poz (in fact I don't think it had any poz…) and told a simple, clean story about a guy getting shit done and setting his society straight in the process.

So it's the first movie I've seen in a long time that was actually wholesome and decent… the last one before it that I can think of is The Return of the King and that was thirteen fucking years ago.
