Comments/"Was Right Again"/Speculation
The one thing to note about the San Diego Convention Center, in regards to flow of people,
is that there is a distinct lack of parking near the facility. Underneath the center there
is space for 1,950 vehicles, and across the street from the center there is space for 2,000
vehicles.
In order to avoid parking congestion there are parking facilities some-distance away from
the site and people use the Trolly + these Offsite locations to reach the center.
The protest groups have listed their meet-up location as the (5)"Gaslamp Quarter Trolley Station"
and I believe that they intend to make a human chain across the (3)"Rail Lines".
This would significantly increase vehicle/pedestrian traffic congestion and trap people on the trolley who have already
boarded.
If this is not their case you have another choke point at the (4)"Parking #1 / Pedestrian Bridge". This is the
only way to get across traffic/trolleytracks on the south-side of the center.
Finally at (6)"Parking #2/Children's Park" you have another large open space that leads to a foot-path chokepoint.
It is also important to not that the convention center is only 16.1 Miles from the Mexican Border.
This is the closest that Trump has held a rally to Mexico.
We may see a shooting/cartel violence today.
